Throughout the process of massage a therapist is stimulating the circulatory system. This is flushing blood from muscles and skin into the primary circulatory system. In their training holistic body workers, massage therapists in particular, will learn briefly about lymphatic drainage massage and learn various different techniques to apply in a treatment session. This does not qualify them as a manual lymphatic drainage massage therapist but merely introduces the subject and so I wanted to mention this briefly. There is no discussion about techniques or practical aspect to this lesson it is informational only. For to gain qualification in this type of massage students need to take further professional training with a qualified instructor.
