A note on Slippery-ing and Dropping (next lesson). You may find that Dropping and Slippery-ing work best for small emotional events - especially "slippery-ing." For instance, you lose your keys and you let the irritation of that slide through your mind. We use phrases like "drop it" or "let it slide" for a reason when talking about really inconsequential things. Always remember, to drop the emotion too!
Just to repeat, a note on Slippery-ing and Dropping.
I added this lecture, to help your understand the Everything Let Go better. It's mostly dropping. If something nags, move on to burning, then backgrounding. :)
I've spent nearly 20 years studying the art of surrender and letting go. I've found that the best way to achieve a deep state of surrender is to use one of the mind's greatest tools: visualization. Many people speak of the need to surrender, but actual methods to surrender are usually not found. People are guessing about what it means to surrender, and what it feels like to surrender. I wanted to make this program to give people sure-fire, concrete ways to let go of unwanted thoughts and feelings. I wanted to show people that they do not have to be at the mercy of the world if they learn to surrender and surrender deeply.
There is a magic in living a surrendered life: One is more peaceful, one is happier, one has more excitement. The fear of death dissipates, and the love of life grows exponentially. Relationships enter into that grand mixture of jolliness and calm. Fights and arguments end quickly and love is promptly restored. Work improves, health improves, and very often, one even begins to have spiritual insights along with more compassion for other people.
I'm so thrilled that you found this program, and I really hope it helps you to learn how to surrender.
