Studio Ensemble Revolution is for ANY music teacher who is searching for a way to launch or expand a studio ensemble program. This online course will explore the following main topics:
The Fundamentals
Mindset - The mindset YOU MUST HAVE to make any studio ensemble thrive
Organization - Being good at organizing your studio's lessons is one thing but being good at organizing your ensembles is something totally different.
Finances
Setting Tuition - How much is too much or too little to charge? Will students not want to do it because there is an extra cost involved? These questions and more are answered.
Expenses - How much money should you spend on sheet music, apps, rehearsal spaces, concert spaces? There are some considerations to follow, and these are explored in this session.
Outsourcing - Sometimes the right answer is to hire someone to help you out.
Making it Happen
Establishing a time slot - Yes, kids are crazy busy, your teaching schedule is packed, and it may seem like you do not have any more time! This session shows you how to make scheduling easy.

Instructor
Mr. Parasky graduated from Boston University with a Master of Music in Music Education and earned an undergraduate degree in Music Performance from Duquesne University. His private flute students have successfully auditioned for various honor ensembles, soloist competitions and workshops at the local, regional, national, and international level. He is an adjunct faculty member at Duquesne University (flute choir), Westminster College (applied flute) and Carnegie Mellon university (applied flute, precollege division).
Dan is a flute choir enthusiast that has conducted honors ensembles at both the Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention and the National Flute Convention. Mr. Parasky is serving as the Convention Flute Choir Coordinator with the National Flute Association from 2021-2025 for their annual conventions and helped launch the first ever NFA Flute Ensemble Festival that was a part of the 2022 convention.
