This course is tailored for structural engineering for non-structural engineer. Non-structural engineers in general which mean any engineering discipline such as electrical, mechanical, petroleum, process and other discipline and architects as they need a basic understanding of structural engineering. As all engineering discipline will be a project engineer or project manager or even engineering manager so it will be mandatory to know the basics knowledge of structural analysis to enable him manage his project.

Based on that, they should have a principal knowledge of structural engineering. This course provides the fundamentals without going into complicated mathematical formulas. The course covers the principal of structural analysis and the basics of structural mechanics in addition to the materials properties. The stress- strain curve and how to choose the suitable member and system will be presented as an overview in this course. Lectures will be followed by simple hands-on exercises and problem-solving sessions. There is a video and three eBooks that cover this topics and these three eBooks is an essential to know the principal of structure analysis and mechanics.
