Stretching: Where to Start is a gentle introductory course designed for people who want to begin stretching but feel unsure, stiff, or afraid of doing something wrong.
This course is not about pushing your limits or chasing fast results. It is about understanding what stretching is, how it feels, and how to start safely and comfortably.
In each lesson you will be introduced to different basic stretching exercises such as butterfly stretch, forward folds, standing stretches, back and shoulder mobility, and gentle hip opening movements. You will learn what these exercises are used for and how your body may respond to them.
For many exercises, several variations are shown — from very gentle to slightly deeper — so you can choose the level that feels right for you. This makes the course suitable even if you feel stiff, “inflexible,” or completely new to stretching.
The final lesson introduces soft and beginner-friendly exercises for the hips and split preparation, helping you understand how flexibility training begins, safely, effectively, and confidently every time.
The course is taught in Russian and includes English subtitles.
By the end of this course, you will feel more confident, relaxed, and ready to continue your stretching journey without fear.
