Before we start, I'd like to open up a little bit, and tell you more about my story with Binge eating and Bulimia. (For more, I encourage you to read "MY STORY" on my Website).
If I had to explain it in few words, My life was rhythmed by the thoughts of food and the vicious circle of literally stuffing my face, purging, promising myself in tears that it would be the last time ... and starting again a few days later.
Through 8 years of battle, I tried a lot of different modalities to heal my mind and body.
Some helped, others were a total fail and even made me go 3 steps backward.
I don't want any of you to lose that precious time, money, or energy.

I would recommand to Watch and do 1 Lesson Per day.
Everybody is different and I wanted to let you the possibility to See and Do more if you want to.
But you'll see that some Lessons will be very dense and intenses, so please, give yourself the time to digest all the information ;)

General and mainstream ideas makes us believe that binge eating, bulimia and compulsive eating is a coping mechanism.
It makes us believe that we eat, to cope with difficult emotions, traumas and problems in our life.
If you’ve been led to believe that theory in the past, you will need to let go of it before you move forward.
I'll explain you later on the relationship with emotions and how we can work on that, but before, I'd like you to be open to the possibility that it is NOT THE DIRECT CAUSE of your binges.
The reason why I am asking you to be open to a new explanation is mostly because it's frankly not helpful to try to find a complex or deep underlying psychological and emotional reason about why you have those impulses that drives you to a binge.
If it was efficient, traditional therapy (where you analyse your emotion, chilhood trauma etc..) would be more effective. But statistics show the contrary, they only work for 6% of cases.
There is 2 reasons.
The first direct reason is :
1. Your Survival Instincts
(Basically your brain trying to protect you from restricting calories and dieting).
It is an adaptive response to dieting.
Calorie restriction puts your body and brain in survival mode, causing you to crave and seek out large amounts of food, full of calories (fat and sugar).
It's normal, you just have a healthy brain trying to protect you.
Remember that in the caves, thousands of years ago, dieting was not really a thing ...

The second direct reason is :
2. Habit (pathways in your brain).
Once you binged many times, your body and brain become conditioned to expect and demand the binges, pathways are created in your brain so it can automatically send you strong impulses as if binge eating is necessary for your survival.
It's normal, it's how brains work, there is nothing wrong about you.
You now understand that the only real cause of your binge eating behavior is the impulse to binge.
And you have this impulse because of the pathway that has been created in your brain through habit.
If you didn’t have it, you would not binge, no matter what else is going on in your life, no matter what emotions you are feeling, no matter what problems you are facing.
It is not about strong emotions or life’s problems that make you act this way.
The impulse (coming from your primal brain) is the only thing that drives you to do this Binge Eating/compulsive eating behavior.
Spending time analyzing conciousely what is wrong with you in therapy is ineffective when it comes to binge eating because those impulses don’t come from your conscious you.
Remembering your motivation is key to your success.

Remember it's here for you to use whenever you want to.
I know that sometimes, some part of you wants to hold on to your old habit.
But you and I know that you want more for your life.
There is a greater part of you that wants to quit and turn that F*** Page right?
Remember that it is normal, what you experience as mixed feelings about your recovery is just the result of the two brains that are at work in binge eating :
Your Primal brain and Your Human brain.
To help you remember you really don't want it in your life and you want to rewire your brain, here are...

I'll ask you to keep in mind the effect it has in your body while filling up the "Motivation" Ressources.
I'd like you to decide TODAY, that whatever happens, you are ready to put yourself and your health FIRST and stop Vomiting.

Breathwork to rewire your Nervous system.
BREATH AND THE GUT :
One of the critical roles of healthy gut bacteria is to signal the proper response to the brain to cope with stress. But as I explained in my videos, prolonged stress and negative emotions negatively impact gut flora, changing the messages sent to the brain.
This, in turn, affects the way your body deals with stress ( physically and mentally).
Through consistent practice, Breathwork calms the nervous system and promotes the body’s natural relaxation.

You now understand how to detect your Primal brain Voice.
This voice promises you relief from stress, a distraction from boredom or sadness; but the actual payoff is the opposite.
It is just shame, guilt, disgust from yourself, anxiety, pain, and even more problems and difficult emotions in the long run.
It is not YOUR voice, it is just the voice of your Primal Brain trying to get what he wants.
Stop giving your impulses too much attention or meaning.
Stop fearing.
Stop believing what this little voice says.
Between binge impulses, your Rational/True/Human self can see that the impulses aren’t truly valid and that you should neither fear nor follow them.
Knowing this makes you feel less compelled to take them seriously next time. ;)

I'll also tell you how your Diet and Yoga can lower the number of Binge Impulses you'll receive.
Nevertheless, recognizing your Primal Brain Voice is the first step I'd like you to master.
Be playful with it, you can even write on a piece of paper all the "excuses" that your Primal brain is trying to make you believe, playfulness will help you to stop fearing those impulses. <3
