Welcome to the course! Discover how artificial intelligence can scan the stock market for day trading setups, explain why stocks are moving and rate every signal. See the path ahead: you start with a single live stock price and build your AI screener piece by piece. Then learn what you need: only one paid tool, a Claude plan. TradingView (free plan), the TradingView MCP, Telegram and Yahoo Finance data are all free, and you can upgrade TradingView later if you want more. Claude builds everything inside the Claude desktop app, so there is no code editor to learn. No brokers, and you always place your own trades. Includes a disclaimer: education, not financial advice.
Download and install the Claude desktop app, sign in with your paid Claude account, and open the Code tab: Claude Code, your AI trading assistant for the rest of the course. A quick tour of sessions, the chat box and the file view. No code editor needed: Claude builds and runs everything right here.
With one plain-English prompt, Claude creates your whole project: CLAUDE.md for house rules, a checklist file, a commands folder for your screeners, a results folder for daily signals and a private folder for secrets. Learn what each part does.
Ask Claude for the live SPY price from Yahoo Finance data, no API key needed. Then write the house rules Claude reads in every session: Yahoo for market data, a $1,000 practice account with 1% risk, TradingView for charts, Telegram for alerts, and you make the final decision.
Install Node.js, then give Claude one prompt that downloads the free tradesdontlie TradingView MCP from GitHub, installs it and connects it to Claude Code. No coding: Claude runs every step and you approve.
Launch TradingView Desktop with the debug port, run a health check, and watch Claude change the stock symbol, switch the timeframe and draw its first line on your chart. This connection powers every visual signal in the course.
What a ticker is, how to read a candlestick, and why day traders use 5-minute charts. Claude switches your TradingView chart as you learn, so every idea is shown on a real stock.
Learn why volume matters, what relative volume means (2x normal means traders are paying attention), and how VWAP shows who is in control today. Claude adds each indicator to your chart.
Stock market hours, the pre-market session, what a gap up or gap down is, and why you check SPY first to read the overall market mood before any day trade.
Use the 5-part screener prompt for the first time and build a pre-market gapper screener live: stocks up or down 4% or more before the open, with 100,000+ pre-market shares, priced $5 to $200. You build it yourself, nothing is pasted in.
Claude reads the latest headlines for every stock your screener finds and writes a one-line reason, such as an earnings beat or an analyst upgrade. This is something a regular stock screener cannot do.
Claude draws each gap-up signal on TradingView: a green reward box, a red risk box and labeled entry, stop loss and target. Learn why extended trading hours must be on to see the zones, why gap-downs stay watch only, and add your gappers to your TradingView watchlist.
Market mood, a 4%+ move, relative volume of 2x or more, a news catalyst, price above VWAP, 2:1 reward to risk, and a $5 to $200 price range. 6 to 7 checks is STRONG, 4 to 5 is MODERATE, 0 to 3 is WEAK. A simple, beginner-friendly way to see which signals deserve a closer look.
Claude writes a small TradingView panel that shows a check or cross for each of the 7 checks, right on your chart. You never touch the code: one prompt and the scorecard appears.
Claude calculates how many shares to buy so you risk only 1% of your account. Learn why a STRONG signal is not a guaranteed win, and why waiting or skipping is often the smartest trade.
Find gappers breaking above their first 15-minute high, one of the most popular day trading setups. Claude marks the opening range and the breakout level on TradingView.
Find strong stocks that pull back to VWAP and hold it, a classic late-morning day trading setup, with entry, stop loss and target drawn on your 5-minute chart.
Find stocks trading at 3 times their normal volume right now, often the first sign that big news or big buyers are moving a stock.
One command runs all four screeners, rates every signal and shows the Top 3 STRONG signals. Claude opens each one on TradingView with its trade zones and scorecard, one after another. Works on the TradingView Basic plan. Optional: with a paid plan, see all of them at once on a 4-chart grid.
The 5-part screener prompt: name it, describe the idea, set the numbers, choose when it runs and how to show it. Beginner shortcut: ask Claude to suggest the rules and explain them simply. See a bad prompt versus a good one, and learn to loosen or tighten the results.
Red-to-Green, 52-Week High Breakout, Gap Fill, Oversold Bounce with RSI and Morning Top Losers. Copy each prompt, change a few words and make it your own.
Create a free Telegram bot with BotFather, save the token in your private folder, and send your first message from Claude. Learn why you should never share your bot token.
Every STRONG signal arrives on your phone with the TradingView chart picture, entry, stop loss, target and rating. Claude also sets TradingView alerts at each entry price. (up to 3 price alerts on the TradingView Basic plan)
Schedule automatic scans at 9:00 and 9:45 AM Eastern so your signals arrive without typing a thing. Your computer must be on, with the Claude app and TradingView open, while the scans run.
Claude reviews every signal from your results folder and reports which hit the target, hit the stop or are still open, then suggests how to improve your screeners.
Recap your complete AI stock trading system with Claude, TradingView and Telegram. Get ideas for new screeners and custom rules, and where to go next to learn strategies and backtesting.
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
Under 100 minutes. No code. No scrolling through hundreds of charts.
Every morning, day traders burn an hour flipping through stock charts looking for a setup. In this beginner course you'll build an AI screener that does it for you. It scans the market, rates every setup, draws the signal on TradingView and sends it to your phone on Telegram.
You never write code. You describe what you want in plain English inside the Claude desktop app with Claude Code, and Claude does the technical work. It reads market data from Yahoo Finance, checks the latest news to explain why each stock is moving, and gives every signal a clear entry, stop loss and target.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
Most screeners hand you a list and wish you luck. This one grades every signal with a 7-check rating: STRONG, MODERATE or WEAK. You'll see why a setup made the cut, and why waiting or skipping is often the smart move. The goal isn't more trades. It's better ones.
WHAT YOU'LL BUILD
Four AI stock screeners: pre-market gappers, opening range breakout, VWAP bounce and unusual volume
A 7-check rating that marks every signal STRONG, MODERATE or WEAK
A TradingView Signal Tour: Claude opens each top signal with trade zones and a scorecard on the chart
Telegram alerts with chart snapshots, plus automatic morning scans
Your own custom screeners, built with a simple 5-part Claude prompt
WHAT YOU NEED
A paid Claude plan is the only subscription. TradingView (Basic plan), the open-source TradingView MCP, Telegram and Yahoo Finance data cost nothing extra. A paid TradingView plan adds more charts, indicators and alerts, but you don't need it.
WHAT THIS COURSE DOESN'T DO
It won't place trades for you. There's no broker connection and no auto-execution, so every order is yours. It won't hand you guaranteed winners: a STRONG signal is a setup worth a closer look, not a promise. And it won't make money on its own. It saves you time and gives you a disciplined process. The decisions stay yours.
If you want a bot that trades while you sleep, this isn't that course.
