Description
This course is the summary of about 8 years of practices of a Belgian Startup Boostcamp by the author, Ben Piquard.
Initially taught with the Microsoft Innovation Center in Belgium (2010 Price of best MIC WW Initiative), the boostcamp spread a bit everywhere in Belgium and has now more than 300 alumni, with some great success stories.
This MOOC is also used as an introduction to the current MIC Brussels Boostcamp and to prepare for the "One Hour Challenge" pitch sessions that help startups raise investor funding.
Ben Piquard is currently CEO of a seed startup fund in Belgium and helps startups and projects on a daily based.

Graduated in 1992 from HEC liège, Ben Piquard is an economist who has been working for more than 25 years in many startups and corporate organisations, from Hyperion, Siebel, PeopleSoft or Microsoft.
Ex director of the Belgian Microsoft Innovation Centers in Belgium (from 2008 to 2014), he launched the Startup Boostcamps in Belgium and coached many Startup Week-end and took part to many startup juries since 2008.
Ben is now the CEO of LeanSquare, a startup seed fund in Liège and remains the main coach of the Microsoft Innvation Center in Brussels, heart of Europe.
