Course content

7 sections61 lectures4h 38m total length
  • Introduction2:29

Start an online business with as little as $2,000 by sketching ideas, analyzing pros and cons, and launching with minimal staff and expenses, while leveraging Shopify, WordPress, and social media.

  • What to expect from this course2:57

Learn what this course covers and what it won’t, including turning ideas into an interactive prototype, SaaS basics, and real online business examples, while omitting legal and ads guidance.

  • Download the resources and talk to me on Discord0:24
  • The difference between a classic business and a digital one6:18

The lecture contrasts classic brick-and-mortar stores with digital businesses, detailing foot traffic, permits, equipment, and seasonality. It then shows how online models—Shopify and domain names—enable mobility and quick setup.

  • Don’t overestimate quality3:32

Start an online business with a small budget by embracing imperfect launches. Focus on delivering value, launch early, and iterate, recognizing quality is just one factor.

  • What’s an MVP and why you should really care about it6:40

Discover how to design an MVP, a minimum viable product, to launch quickly, test demand, and iterate from simple ideas rather than chasing perfection.

  • Overhead – the real business killer5:40

Understand overhead as ongoing expenses like rent or hosting that keep the business alive. Favor one-time purchases or automation over doing everything yourself to run without you 24/7.

  • Employees – everything you need to know5:21

Hire generously and treat employees as equals, keep your word, pay on time, and respect their time and life outside work, acknowledging that salaries and taxes make significant overhead.

  • Find out what business to start – checklist6:16

Learn to choose a digital business that leverages your experience, evaluate staffing and startup costs, and focus on delivering value through a low-cost website rather than a costly app.

  • Here’s why it’s best to have fewer employees6:00

Learn why a small, reliable team that you pay well is key to controlling costs, while navigating internal willpower and external factors like ads and rankings.

  • How to discover revolutionary ideas2:58

Focus on doing one thing very well, fulfill a need, and overdeliver to excite customers; execution, not revolutionary ideas, drives branding, marketing, design, and online business success.

  • Takeaway ideas so far2:32

Launch quickly with an MVP, don't wait for perfection, and keep costs low with a small, loyal team while delivering value from your experience.

Requirements

  • You need a great attitude. Both for the course and the actual businesses. This is a must! You will fail often, but that's fine!

Description

Through this course you can launch two online businesses in your local language in your country. These businesses don't require an office, lots of employees, or a big budget. Here's what's included:

  • how to go from an idea to sketches to an interactive prototype to a working business

  • how to hire an affordable coder and for what platform like Shopify, Wordpress, Magento

  • create ads based on the carrot and stick method - positive, neutral, negative

  • how to work with a performance marketing agency (Facebook Ads & TikTok Ads)

  • learn about local vs international businesses

  • discover lesser known things about hiring people, outstanding ideas, the quality of the product, and more!

What I can promise is you this: I hate "hacks" or courses that promise you the world. This is not about selling stuff from China on Amazon or outsourcing projects to Fiverr. These are two real businesses that I'm actually running and I'll show you, step by step, how I go through the entire process.

After this course, you'll have a deeper understanding of what it is to be an entrepreneur, how you can analyze and judge the value of an idea, and hopefully you'll have 1-2 businesses that produce a few hundred to a few thousand dollars per month.

I created this course based on my experience as a serial entrepreneur. Here's my résumé:

  • I started a bagel shop with a friend of mine with the help of a bank loan that my sister took out ($7000). I grew the business into several locations and sold them for a big premium;

  • I founded 2 e-commerce websites and I sold them after 18 months after they were profitable;

  • I started a mobile app design company that made 6 figures per year in profit from 2013 to 2018

  • I'm currently the owner of a healthy food start up based on oatmeal in Romania

Who this course is for:

  • Anyone who wants to start a business on a tight budget
  • Beginner entrepreneurs who want to start a real online business with little to no employees
  • People sick of "hacks" and fake businesses that are nearly impossible to replicate
