This course will cover the foundations of professional communication, goal setting, and management. You will understand components and concepts that will put you ahead of your colleagues.


We go through;

  1. What is communication - breaking down the components of the audience, message, and medium

  2. Running effective meetings - understanding what is required, before during, and after

  3. How to communicate through different mediums - telling a story, structure, consistency, clarity as well as design and approach

  4. Goal Setting - hierarchy of your career and how you can utilise this knowledge to support your growth

  5. Providing and receiving feedback - Rather than giving feedback with the Sh%t sandwich approach, we cover a new structure. SIC -> Situation, Impact, Change an approach for providing feedback to those around you that empower them enabling them to develop.

  6. Managing ambiguity - hard tasks are ambiguous, how can you manage them, structure them and come to an outcome, ultimately solving the problem

  7. Speaking up on risks - day to day you will come across issues, risks, and concerns how do you effectively communicate those to the people that need to know
