Description

Sprint Training is a complete course designed for swim coaches, competitive swimmers, instructors, and aquatic professionals who want to better understand how sprint performance is built. Sprint swimming is not just about working harder or swimming faster in practice. It requires a clear understanding of speed, power, technique, energy systems, starts, turns, underwaters, breakouts, race pace, and mental execution.

In this course, learners will study the foundations of sprint swimming and how to apply them in real training environments. The course breaks sprint performance into practical coaching concepts that can be used with age group swimmers, high school swimmers, club athletes, and developing competitive swimmers. Learners will explore how to reduce drag, improve body position, develop a stronger kick, build explosive starts, sharpen turns, and create race-specific training sets.

This course also helps learners understand how to design sprint-focused practices with purpose. Instead of relying only on high yardage or general conditioning, learners will discover how to train pure speed, power, speed endurance, and race execution in a structured way.

By the end of the course, learners will have a stronger understanding of what makes sprint swimmers successful and how to build a training plan that improves race performance, technical efficiency, and confidence.

Who this course is for:

  • This course is for swim coaches, competitive swimmers, swim instructors, and aquatic professionals who want to better understand sprint training. It is ideal for learners who want to improve starts, turns, underwaters, sprint technique, race speed, and sprint-focused practice design.
