Description

The Specialist Certificate in Coaching Psychology course is our introductory training program to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to apply Coaching Psychology techniques.

One of the most influential psychotherapeutic themes has been that developed by Carl Rogers under the broad title of Client-Centered psychotherapy. Rogers advocated a non-directive mode of psychotherapy in which the client is maximally free to express himself and is subject to a minimum of organisation or expert ‘treatment’ by the therapist.

The certificate in person centred therapy program begins with grounding in the Rogerian psychotherapy model and accompanying theory. Emphasis is placed on learning to use the Rogerian therapy model to specifically treat various issues in counselling. Participants are taught how to apply Rogerian psychotherapy in practice, as well as in other settings. In this certificate program, participants will be introduced to the field of Rogerian psychotherapy and will learn tools, practice, and applied strategies that support personal, organizational, and community well-being.

This course is designed for any applicant who is interested in the area of psychoanalytic therapy, individuals from diverse industries who wishes to learn more about psychology and mental health, existing professionals who wishes to have a structured review of this specific skills or aspiring private practitioners or any practitioners in the area of psychology, psychotherapy, counselling or coaching.
