WELCOME TO THE COURSE. I'M SO GLAD TO HAVE YOU HERE!
HOW THE COURSE WORKS
This course is divided into sections. It is designed for the learner to start from the beginning and move forward to the end in that order. If you are curious about a certain lesson, you can have a look at them, but ultimately the course is designed to take you through a journey of learning one step at a time. If you jump through lessons, you might not understand the content of each lesson very well.
TEST YOUR KNOWLEDGE
After some lessons, there will a quiz to help you remember what you have just learned. If you don't understand the quiz, try to watch the previous lessons again. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me! :)
So now the question is:
ARE YOU READY TO SPEAK INDONESIAN FROM DAY ONE?
Let's start learning Indonesian with fun and ease. Join me in this course!
If there's only ONE thing you should be able to spell correctly in Indonesian, it's your name!
Imagine if you're about to check into your hotel in Indonesia. You may have to verify your name by spelling it out correctly to the person who's checking you in. Yes of course you can have a pen and paper and write out your name and then show it to the other person, but wouldn't it be so easy to just be able to spell it out like how you would in your native language?
So after you complete this lesson video, try to spell out your name in Indonesian. Practice spelling your name out loud 3 times. 3 is the magic number here. Do more if you'd like to! The more practice, the better!
So you've made a new friend and this person (he/she) is Indonesian. That's great! Wouldn't you want to be able to pronounce his or her name correctly? Just out of courtesy, you know.
Avoid the "I don't know how to pronounce your name" situation by doing this pronunciation exercise.
Pay attention of the difference between "kamu" and "kalian;" "kami" and "kita."
