A course exclusively designed for you to learn Leadership skills, Communication skills, and Citizenship to strive in the changing world today.
Waqar Ali brings with him over 8 years of valuable experience in imparting training with various organizations. The very personification of consistency and determination, Waqar nurtures a deep desire to inspire people with his optimistic approach. Armed with a positive attitude, a smile and persistence of effort, he has managed to achieve remarkable growth at School of Leadership. He is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at School of Leadership.
Leaders hold themselves and the people around them to a higher standard than most, both on a personal and professional level. Leaders understand that in order to achieve higher standards, they need to have strong values, hold themselves accountable for their words/actions and never make excuses.

Being able to communicate effectively is one of the most important life skills. Those with good interpersonal skills are strong verbal and non-verbal communicators and are often considered to be “good with people”. to learn. Communication is defined as transferring information to produce greater understanding.
The secret to success is Communication. Today, 80% of the problems are due to lack of communication and thus, the second component of Spark is ‘Communication skills’ where we will be exploring how we can improve our communication to be an efficient leader.
The key to effective communication lies in understanding. People succeed when the understanding matches and the results turn out amazing.

Communication is all about acknowledging, respecting and appreciating the people around you because it fosters relationships and encourages healthy conversations.

Empathy helps us to communicate our ideas in a way that makes sense to others, and it helps us understand others when they communicate with us. It is one of the foundational building blocks of great social interaction and, quite obviously, powerful stuff.

In this last module we will be talking about all the responsibilities we as a citizen should fulfill to make this world a happy and healthy place for the generations to come.
The last and final module of ‘Spark’ would be Citizenship where we will be evaluating and pondering upon our take in the society. The module aims to combine advocacy and action in a pursuit to evoke a sense of citizenship in the society.
To understand citizenship, we first need to analyze the dynamics of where the world is heading today. The world today has 7 billion people but citizenship is still a difficult concept which we will slowly elope in this video.
Citizenship has always been a confusing topic and this video is about how we can evolve and understand the real crux of citizenship. To be a good citizen, we need to take responsibility and play our part to shift the dynamic.

SPARK is a 2 hours journey which is based on practical examples of life and that has a greater impact on organizations and community at large. While the concepts and tools are extracted from the finest practices of the world being followed and that has seen results over as well, the facilitator has demonstrated them for the participants in the simplest form to help them understand and practically implement them in their professional and personal lives.
A business graduate, Waqar’s innovative streak and negotiation skills in various domains has helped him effectively manage people and their behavior and bring on board multiple partners from pharmaceuticals,
to telecom, FMCG and other corporates for all the conferences and projects he’s worked on. Waqar currently works as a Trainer and Lead Consultant at School of Leadership and Torque, igniting innovation and creativity through a spectrum of work across training need analysis, facilitation for various NGOs, and corporates.
Waqar’s horizon of influence has touched over 100 districts across Pakistan over 5 years. Being a Program Manager on Pakistan’s largest annual youth conference, the “Young Leaders Conference” for 3 consecutive years, he has reached out to around 900 youngsters from over 50 cities, who in return have rehabilitated lives of over 20,000 people in their respective spheres of influence. As a leader and a team-player, Waqar knows how to bring the best out of colleagues and maintain a sense of camaraderie. With his resolve to move mountains, his infectious energy, indomitable spirit, and competence, he aims to bring in a new era of achievement and is destined to rise to the top wherever he goes.
