In this section of the course you will get familiarized with the sounds of the vowels in spanish: a,e,i,o,u. An audio is attached in to the section, so you can listen to it while you commute.
Now that you know the basics of the sounds of vowels in spanish, is time to practice a little bit vowel by vowel. On this part we will focus on writing and pronouncing words with the vowel A in spanish. Don't forget that the exercises are listed in the book provided at the beginning of the course (see attachments)

This letter is going to be an easy one, the logic of the pronunciation of the letter C is like in English, but we want to do some review on grammar. In this lecture we will only focus on the letter C but if you want to have a deeper insight, in the book provided at the beginning of the lecture, we address extra cases of the spanish alphabet as the use of CC as X, SH in english and it's equivalent CH, and PH in english and it's equivalent F in spanish, also we explain the use of accents in spanish. Unlike English, in spanish the letter H has no sound, this means it remains silent, yet we use it in many common expressions such as: Hola (hi) and hasta luego (see you later) it is important you troubleshoot the problems that might rise as having an english pronunciation on a silent letter such as H. Here we will practice in a conversation, dictate and listening, the sound of the letter H.
In this section we will show you the two sounds that the letter g has: j and g. Learn when to use them, how do they sound and how to pronounce them. We also add exercises that include reading, writing and pronunciation
In Colombian Spanish, the letter J sounds like the sound that you make with the letter H in English. Here we will help you to practice the pronunciation of this letter and help you to break the habit of reading/pronouncing the letter j in an English sound instead of its spanish sound.
Letter LL in spanish (unlike English) does NOT sound like L, but like J (the English J sound), even if the sound of the letter LL in Spanish has a slight variation depending on the country, here we will teach you the way it sounds in Colombian Spanish. We have a set of exercises, dictates, and pronunciation examples for you to master this sound.
Letter Ñ in spanish sounds like the sound in the silab "gn" of the word cognac or lasagna, let's dive in this unique letter unique to the spanish language. Here you will find recordings, dictates and conversations to master this sound.
Letter Q in English does not behave differently than in spanish (as it is silent when you don't focus on the rare cases) regardless, some beginners do the mistake of pronounce it. It is important to familiarize yourself with the common words In spanish that use the letter Q, such as: que or quien, that might sound similar to the sound of letter C.
Mastering the letter R in spanish will take you to a place of proficiency. You will be easily understood and you will be able to communicate much easier with locals. On this module we will talk about the different sounds of the letter R, and we will work in your pronunciation and writing.
Letter Y is an important one as it behaves as a connector, has a vowel sound and then a consonant sound. Learn all the cases when the sound changes, and learn to use it as a connector in this module.
If you are not easily understood by locals, or you can’t seem to understand basic spanish words, it is time to work on your pronunciation. Fixing (or avoiding) the problems in your pronunciation in spanish is very important to master spanish fluency.
