Journey Through Somatic Archetypes: Saturn, Mars, Chiron & Pluto
This course is an invitation to stop only thinking about your chart and start feeling it in your body. Saturn, Mars, Chiron, and Pluto are not just symbols on a wheel – they show up as real patterns in your nervous system: the places you brace, push, collapse, over-give, or hold too much.
Across four modules, we’ll explore each archetype on two levels:
the collective story it carries (culture, history, current themes), and
the personal way it lives in your body through sensations, posture, impulses, and emotions.
You’ll learn how Saturn’s pressure, Mars’ fire, Chiron’s tendernes,s and Pluto’s intensity move through you, and how to shift from shadow expressions (overwork, burnout, anger, self-attack, obsession) into more integrated expressions like grounded boundaries, clear action, embodied courage, and deeper self-trust.
Through guided somatic practices, gentle reflection, and chart exploration, you’ll create your own somatic map of these four archetypes in your natal chart. By the end, you won’t just “know” your Saturn, Mars, Chiron, and Pluto – you’ll recognize how they feel in your body, what they are trying to protect, and how to work with them as allies in your next chapter.
I am Paula, the creator of Anima Soma. I’m a certified Psychosomatic and Parts Work practitioner, as well as a Reiki energy healer, who assists clients in moving and clearing stuck emotions in the body and reconnecting them with their soulful essence.
I’m also an astrologer who views planetary aspects as guidance for inner transformation, integrating both the light and shadow aspects.
For a long time, I lived in my mind. I avoided my body, shut down pleasure, and over-analyzed every decision. Somatic work, parts work, astrology, and energy healing brought me home.
Now I help clients build relationships with their bodies and parts so they can trust themselves again and grow into the identity their soul is calling them toward.

Let it land in your life.
For each planet, gently ask yourself:
Where does this show up in my life right now?
How does this energy move in my relationships, work, body, or emotions?
Does this feel more like the shadow expression or the more integrated one?
Pause to journal.
Use the integration prompts in the document.
Take a few minutes per planet to write what you notice, without trying to fix anything.
The goal here is simple:
to see how these archetypes are already living in you, so the somatic practices that follow have a clear, personal place to land.
Saturn is the part of life that asks us to grow up.
Collectively, it shows up as rules, systems, deadlines, responsibility, and the pressure to “have it together.” Individually, Saturn is where we feel the weight of expectations in our chart: the place we brace, overperform, or feel like we’re never enough.
In this video, we’ll explore Saturn as both a collective archetype and a personal teacher, and start to notice how its energy lives in your body through tension, posture, breath, and behavior. You’ll learn where Saturn sits in your chart, what story it’s been telling you, and how to begin working with it somatically so that pressure can slowly turn into grounded inner authority instead of chronic self-criticism.
Mars is the part of life that wants to move, act, and say “this matters to me.”
Collectively, it shows up as drive, aggression, competition, activism, and the way our culture relates to anger and desire. Individually, Mars is where your body goes into fight, flight, push, or shutdown when something feels like a threat or an opportunity.
In this video, we’ll explore Mars as both a collective archetype and a personal engine, and notice how its energy lives in your muscles, breath, impulses, and reactions. You’ll learn where Mars sits in your chart, how you tend to express or suppress it, and how to start working with it somatically so your anger, desire, and action can become clear, grounded, and on your side instead of burning you out.
Chiron is the part of life that holds our most tender, repeating hurts and the medicine inside them. C
ollectively, it shows up in the places where our systems fail to hold pain well: stigma, shame, exclusion, and the ways wounded people wound others. Individually, Chiron marks the spots in your chart where you feel “too sensitive,” “too broken,” or endlessly triggered, no matter how much work you’ve done.
In this video, we’ll explore Chiron as both a collective wound and a personal healing path, and notice how its energy lives in your body through flinching, collapse, over-care, or self-abandonment. You’ll learn where Chiron sits in your chart, what story it’s been repeating, and how to begin working with it somatically so that the wound can slowly become a source of wisdom, compassion, and clear boundaries.
Pluto is the part of life that insists on truth and deep transformation.
Collectively, it shows up in power structures, collapse and rebirth cycles, taboo topics, and the shadows we’d rather not look at. Individually, Pluto marks where you feel intense, obsessive, all-or-nothing, or secretly terrified of losing control.
In this video, we’ll explore Pluto as both a collective undercurrent and a personal engine of transformation, and track how its energy moves through your body as gripping, shutdown, obsession, or sudden waves of emotion. You’ll learn where Pluto sits in your chart, what it’s been trying to strip away, and how to start working with it somatically so that intensity can be held, grounded, and slowly turned into deeper power and integrity rather than burnout or self-destruction.
Somatic Parts Work – Meeting Your Inner System Through the Body
In this section, we bring parts work out of the mind and into the body. You’ll learn how to recognize protector parts and younger hurt parts not just as “stories,” but as real sensations, postures and impulses in your nervous system. Through gentle somatic exercises, we’ll practice noticing when a part takes over, creating a bit of space, and inviting your grounded Self to come closer.
The focus here is on building relationship, not forcing change: understanding what each part is trying to protect, offering it new options through breath and movement, and slowly creating more inner safety so your system doesn’t have to work so hard to keep you alive and acceptable.
