In this welcome video, Fanny introduces the philosophy behind the Somatic Dance practice — what it is, how it works, and what you can expect from the course.
You'll discover why somatic movement is one of the most powerful tools for nervous system regulation, stress release, and body reconnection — and why no dance experience is needed to begin.
This is your starting point. Press play, and let's move together.
Use simple grounding tasks, learn to quiet mental noise and reconnect with physical sensations — your first step out of survival mode.
Use breath and spinal waves to reconnect with your internal rhythm — letting each inhale and exhale guide your movement into deeper fluidity and body presence.
Map your feet, feel the ground beneath you and build inner stability — discovering how rooting your body downward creates a lasting sense of safety and calm.
Unlock tension stored in your hips and pelvis through slow, organic circles — releasing deep emotional holding and reconnecting with your body's vital energy.
Articulate your spine vertebra by vertebra, dissolve movement patterns caused by stress and rediscover the natural fluid freedom your back is designed for.
Release shoulder tension, open your chest and let your arms move like water — gently dissolving the emotional armor we carry and expanding into your heart space.
Use guided shaking and release to discharge stored stress from your nervous system — letting your body reset naturally through its own trembling intelligence.
Discover that true strength lives in softness — using conscious isometric movement to rebuild embodied confidence and feel powerful from the inside out.
Expand beyond your comfort zone — using peripheral vision and cross-body movement to open space, integrate both brain hemispheres and break free from contraction patterns.
Let go of instructions and dance freely — using playful movement and spontaneous joy to activate your creativity and celebrate how far your body has come.
Does your body carry stress, tension, or emotions you don't know how to release? Somatic dance is one of the most powerful — and underused — tools for nervous system regulation, emotional release, and deep body awareness. And you don't need any dance experience to begin.
This course combines contemporary dance, somatic movement, and guided improvisation to help you reconnect with your body from the inside out. Each session is a gentle, grounded invitation to move, breathe, and feel — at your own pace, in your own space.

Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you're curious about somatic healing, body-based practices, or mindful movement — even if you've never danced before. It's also for yoga practitioners, meditators, therapists, and dancers who want to deepen their embodied awareness.
Who is this NOT for?
This is not a technique-based dance course. There are no choreographies to memorize, no right or wrong movements. If you're looking for structured dance training, this course is not the right fit.
