Welcome to this short course which will teach you three simple, yet unconventional steps to solve any problem, by looking at how you judge yourself and the world around you.
This is all about learning about states of consciousness and having the ability to shift your consciousness at will.
When you can do this, you will have the ability to see that there really is no problem at all, just the opportunity to find out more about yourself and as you do, you begin to feel liberated.
Let’s start by taking a look into what is really going on in our lives. We think we know, but do we really know?
So much of our world is governed by unseen elements. We will explore these unseen elements by contemplating what we understand to be the ‘real’ world. In doing so, we will first enlist a little help from science.
If we work with the laws of physics to understand ourselves better, it is appropriate for us to understand and identify with energetic properties, which relevantly are connectedness, frequency and flow.
Given everything is energy, it means your thoughts are energy too and they are the precursor to your reality. If you think something is true, you are like a magician and it becomes true right before your very eyes. I’ll bet you didn’t know you had this hidden superpower. Knowing this, gives you insight into why you do the things you do.
The takeaway from this section is:
It’s all energy, and to make real, sustainable change, we must use energetic principles, or the principles of physics to do so. These principles are connection, frequency and flow. When we look at ourselves differently, things begin to change.
You are a master creator and everything is within your power. Sometimes we don't like what we are experiencing. But our experiences are showing us what we cannot see physically about ourselves. We cannot see this because we tend not to consider the unseen aspects of our reality.
A mirror on the wall reflects what you can physically see about yourself. The world around you is also a mirror in that it can also tell you things about the non-physical, unseen, or unconscious aspects of yourself. These are the parts we have been taught to reject. This feels negative to us.
The negative feelings we have, vibrate at certain frequencies and, like tuning forks, animate matching negative frequencies or experiences. This is how we create negative experiences.
These negative feelings or frequencies were created in our childhoods when we learned to reject certain aspects of ourselves. Rejection creates resistance in our energetic flow. You dissolve your resistances, when you are able to radically accept all of your creation no matter what. Your creation is your life.
When we see problems in our lives, we either ignore them, distract ourselves, or look for external solutions. What many of us don't see, is the problem is our very own creation and has nothing to do with anyone else.
If you don’t prefer what you are creating, the great news is that you are the one who has control over how your creation looks to you. Radical acceptance of your creation is the first step to moving in a positive direction. It is always your choice.
Here is a little exercise that will illuminate the aspects of your 'self', or the areas of the one energy that you might be rejecting. These aspects you will feel negative about. This is all about getting to know your self by how your views feel to you.
When we judge anything as 'bad', we are rejecting it. Effectively, as we are all one, this is like trying to reject ourselves. This is a state of resistance, it blocks our flow and feels negative. When we can accept the thing we reject, we dissolve the resistance and our energy flows freely again. This feels positive.
How holding onto the things we have judged as right or good also feels negative when we exclude other possible outcomes. This is because we are living with the need for control or certainty
When we behaved in the ways our 'tribes', meaning our parents, teachers, peers and the other influential people in our lives trained us to behave, then to our young minds, this approval, not only meant survival, but also meant that we would 'get' love.
We have created identities, or labels, like lawyer, ditch digger, artist, mother, best cake baker etc. We have many labels and that's wonderful until those labels restrict our energetic flow, or our authenticity.
It is here that I will give you another exercise. This is called a life audit.
See the handout at Lecture 1 for full details.
Our life audit shows us where we might be obeying the expectations of others. Bringing awareness to our life helps free up our resistances.
Step 2 in solving any problem is liberating yourself from what you have been taught to judge as the ‘good’ or 'right’ way to live life, to the exclusion of other more authentic choices available to you. Conduct a life audit to look at the areas of your life where you may be holding on or trying to exert control over someone or something. Letting go, sets you free.
Humans avoid feeling negative, yet it is in the feeling place that problems are moved through and solved.
Steps 1 and 2 talk about the judgments we make. Here we will visit an example of how our judgments came to be and how we use our feeling self to guide us.
You have learned about judgements as giving rise to resistance. You will be now be guided through a short meditation to illustrate the idea of peace. Peace is your natural non-judgemental state of being.
By understanding the states of consciousness you get to choose your preferred reality. One where there is a problem. One where there is no problem, just an opportunity. You move to the latter state by becoming aware that this is your perfect creation to be experienced by you. This dissolves resistance and raises consciousness.
The takeaway from this section is a summary to solving any problem. Using steps 1 and 2 we might be able to find what we are judging as good bad right or wrong in our lives. Judgment creates a resistance in our flow and feels negative. Recognise that feeling and allow it to inform you of your resistances.
The third step is to then view the problem as an opportunity to learn about your authentic preferences or what lights you up or feels positive to you. This helps dissolve the resistance. When you do this you move back in the flow, not only do more opportunities arise for you, but your whole world starts feeling more peaceful.
Here, we will summarize the three steps, noting that they do not need to be applied in order of preference.
You will discover that when you make a decision using a particular state of consciousness, the outcome of that decision will reflect that state of consciousness.
This example discusses how the concept of letting go can swiftly change outcomes.
This short course teaches you three simple, yet unconventional steps to solve any problem, by looking at how you judge yourself and the world around you.
Did you know that the way you experience your life is a result of the judgments you are making? You have been taught to place a value on everything you encounter and every choice you make.
When you judge something as 'bad', it becomes a problem that also feels bad. In short, you want to feel good, so you want the problem to go away. Traditional methods of problem-solving do not solve problems in sustainable ways. This is because we have not been factoring in, the unseen elements of our problems.
This is all about learning about states of consciousness and having the ability to shift your consciousness at will. States of consciousness are feeling states.
This course will take you through some fun exercises to get to know more about how your feeling self can navigate you through a problem with some real-life practical examples that you can apply to your own life.
When you have learned these three steps, you will have the ability to see that there really is no problem at all, just the opportunity to find out more about yourself and as you do, you begin to feel good again.
