This course is around 16 hours long and covers every stage in the SOFiSTiK program in detail:
In the Pre-Process
Introduction to the Interface: Familiarizing yourself with the program interface.
Material Definition: You'll be surprised by the numerous features available to define materials and the variety of studies you can conduct with them.
Cross Sections: Learn how to define cross sections for concrete, steel, or cold-formed sections, with powerful features for defining non-standard cold-formed sections.
Drawing Geometry and Boundary Conditions: You'll experience the program's incredible capability in defining geometry and meshing with ease and high efficiency.
Load Definition and Application: Understand various flexible methods to define and apply loads.
In the Processing Phase
Load Combinations: Learn how to create load combinations.
Earthquake Inputs: Discover how to input seismic data.
Linear and Non-Linear Analysis: Gain knowledge on conducting both linear and non-linear analysis.
Projects
You'll work on 4 simplified but rich and diverse projects:
Steel with Hot Rolled Sections
Steel Racking Frames with Special Cold Formed Sections
Concrete Project: Designing slabs and producing reinforcement maps.
Concrete Project (Underground): Designing columns and beams, with a focus on the importance of considering construction stages.
Timber Structure: Designing a wooden structure (wooden canopy).
Additionally, you can join a dedicated WhatsApp support group for full technical assistance with your projects using SOFiSTiK.
