In this course, I focused on how, you - as photographers- can reach your marketing objectives thanks to social media. Putting your business objectives at the center of my reflection, I chose six common goals that might occur in your everyday life.
In a few words, social media platforms are modern and mandatory tools to run your marketing. Nowadays, it is crucial to know how to design a social media strategy that fits your needs as a photographer. Putting in place a pattern you can replicate is a best practice, that is why it is important to know your target audience, your social media objectives, your brand voice, and how to establish a content plan.
Once done right, you can consider running brand awareness campaigns, and building a cohesive community on your social properties.
When you succeed to gather people around your artwork, you will feel the need to increase your visibility and drive more traffic to your website, portfolio, e-commerce, or merch. Only then, you start considering increasing your sales thanks to social ads and social selling. When I conducted this course, my goal was to make happier photographers who can use their social media platforms like digital savvies, for more independence and increase their business opportunities, while staying connected in a creative discussion, especially after the global pandemic the world witnessed.

Since I was a little boy, I was always fascinated by cameras. I used to perceive them as a beautiful way to suspend time and space beyond infinity. Growing up, I discovered that, also, it is a magical way to keep an emotion persistent. With the rise of social media, I learned that it is even possible to share this particular feeling with passionate people and fill their eyes with thousands of little stars.
From where I stand today, I consider myself as someone who has a nonlinear path. From political sciences to communications and digital marketing, to graphic design and photography, I jumped a lot to grow as a creative person.
During my professional journey, I have retained a particular interest in photography and social media management, and I tailored my career around these two fields. Throughout the years, my greatest passion for photography and my years of experience as a social media manager put together, gave me an enormous amount of insights, that I cannot wait to share with you as a consultant and as a coach freelancer.
The secret behind every successful social media campaign is to dare to try. And not to be afraid of failing or not reaching the objectives in mind. When it comes to social media, it goes both ways: learn new best practices and apply them to succeed and apply best practices to learn something new! This is how I learned how to improve my social media marketing strategies.
