Description
Social Media is powerful and has the capacity to help transform your cause. Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn are still growing at an incredible pace. The people you serve, those who support your mission, are there. Unfortunately, I see so many nonprofits missing out on the amazing opportunity that social media presents for enhancing their mission. How can they take part in this opportunity? It all comes down to their mission.
If your organization posts online “just to be out there,” this training will help give you the very clarity that you need to be successful. Going "viral" isn't the goal... building a sustainable, mission-driven presence, is. Maybe you feel like there is too much other work to do and growth is too slow like it's not worth the energy because you're having a difficult time converting followers to donors. If any of that resonates, hold my hand and let this training guide you to developing your foundation. There very well be some mission pieces to your social media vision you are missing!
Social media is all about sharing your mission and impact with your community that’s also visually appealing. Your visual appeal may begin with your graphics, but true social media success goes way beyond pretty pictures. True mission-driven social media success is about knowing who your ideal follower is, who is philanthropically aligned with your mission, who believes in your cause, who needs you, and what they need to hear from you.
True mission-driven social media success speaks to the soul. It makes people proud to know you and to support you. It makes them feel brave enough to seek your services and excited to take part in your programs. To get the maximum benefit out of this training, feel free to print out the workbook that is included or follow along with the PDF version in a separate journal.
At the end of the course, you will have a small piece of homework that will help you kick-start your content creation for your social media accounts. You'll receive a PDF filled with "Mission-Centered Social Media Prompts" to help you engage your community and build inspiring content for your accounts.
On your own, go somewhere where it’s quiet and you can focus - a local coffee shop perhaps, or a cozy nook in your living room. Center yourself and reflect on why you believe in your mission. Why do you feel called to do the good work you're doing? And get to work! We’re about to unlock your social media's mission-driven impact potential, inspiring more donors to invest in the good work that you do.

Instructor
Hi, I’m Alison!
I am a passionate nonprofit fundraiser who has raised millions for mission-driven causes and an enthusiastic entrepreneur whose mission is to help individuals and organizations grow—whether that’s through expanding nonprofit income or deepening personal joy and alignment.
Let me tell you my story…
At the age of 16, I organized my first nonprofit fundraiser. After spending more than 15 years in nonprofit development, I built a business in 2019 called Philanthropy Babe, which continues to support fundraisers today. Teaching others how to cultivate generosity, build a culture of philanthropy, and increase impact has been an incredibly fulfilling journey. If that’s what you’re here for, you’ll still find courses to help you succeed.
But along the way, I realized something: I was evolving. Burnout crept in, and I started feeling disconnected from the beauty I was helping create. It wasn’t about the work—it was about me. Through radical honesty, I uncovered a deeper calling—to guide others in reconnecting with themselves and experiencing authentic joy.
With three degrees—Nonprofit Fundraising, Theology, and Philosophy—I’ve always been drawn to both strategy and meaning, structure and soul. While I spent years teaching the tangible side of fundraising, I found myself leaning more into the spiritual work—the deep, personal transformation that fuels authentic joy. That’s why my teaching has expanded.
My Teaching Philosophy
I believe we’re all here for a reason—to learn, to grow, to heal, and above all, to experience joy. Real, abundant joy—the kind that ripples out and gives others permission to embrace their truest selves. That doesn’t mean we won’t feel the full spectrum of emotions (we’re human, after all), but I’ve found that offering ourselves grace and love through the hard moments opens the door to the beautiful ones.
Now, in addition to nonprofit courses, I create courses that guide you toward self-discovery, mindset shifts, and soulful alignment. I used to struggle to even get out of bed some days, but through journaling, practicing gratitude, and getting curious instead of judgmental, I learned to love myself more deeply—and that love has spilled over into everything I do.
My Courses Serve a Very Important Goal
Whether you’re here to transform your nonprofit or your mindset, my goal is to give you the skills, confidence, and tools you need to create a more fulfilling, purpose-driven life.
If you’re here to increase nonprofit income, you’ll find clear, confidence-building courses to help you raise more money with ease. If you’re here for personal growth, you’ll find courses that support your self-discovery, joy, and soulful alignment. Either way, I’m here to guide you.
Wherever you are on your journey, I hope my courses provide inspiration, practical tools, and a sense of possibility. We’re all constantly evolving, and the more we embrace that, the more aligned and joyful our lives become.
With gratitude and a whole lot of excitement,
Alison
