Social justice as a concept and as a movement has evolved over the last century and has been extensively debated, refined, and even researched upon. Despite this, there is no one universal definition of social justice that can be shared. This goes to indicate the complexity of the subject while also providing us an opportunity to explore it in all of its different dimensions. Welcome to this course where we explore social justice and the 21st century.
In this self-paced course, we will deepen our understanding of social justice by examining the movements within it, as well as the lenses we can take to its practice. Learn how to describe social justice and what the concept entails;
Understand various movements within social justice and how they intersect;
