What you'll learn

  • Pass the SnowPro Advanced: Administrator (ADA-C02) exam with confidence, using original questions written to the current published study guide
  • Design and audit role-based and user-based access control, trace grant chains, and diagnose privileges that should not exist
  • Administer accounts and organisations, including the organisation-level admin role, parameters, and multi-account structures
  • Apply data governance with masking, row access and aggregation policies, tags, lineage, and the Horizon Catalog and Trust Center
  • Monitor and tune performance: warehouse sizing, clustering, query profiles, caching, and the account usage views that expose real bottlenecks
  • Control and attribute cost using resource monitors, metering history, query attribution, and governance around AI and ML workloads
  • Configure secure data sharing, listings, reader accounts, the Marketplace and data clean rooms
  • Plan disaster recovery with Time Travel, Fail-safe, cloning, replication and failover group promotion

Description

Pass the SnowPro Advanced: Administrator exam on your first attempt.

Two things catch candidates out on this exam. The first is the version: ADA-C02 replaced the previous release, and a large amount of the study material still circulating targets the older blueprint. If your preparation does not cover the newer account and governance surface — the organisation-level admin role that replaced ORGADMIN, user-based access control alongside role-based, programmatic access tokens, Iceberg tables and external volumes, the Horizon Catalog and Trust Center, data clean rooms, and the governance and cost controls around Cortex AI — you are studying for an exam that no longer exists.

The second is the level. This is an advanced certification, and it assumes the Core credential as a prerequisite. Questions are not definitional. They hand you an account with a security or cost problem and ask what an administrator does about it: which grant chain produced the access someone should not have, why a warehouse is burning credits at idle, which recovery mechanism applies when a table was dropped outside the Time Travel window, how to share data across regions without duplicating storage.

What you get

  • Full-length practice tests that mirror the structure, difficulty and pacing of the live exam

  • A detailed explanation on every single question — every option addressed individually, so you learn why three answers fail rather than just which one passed

  • Blueprint-weighted coverage of all six domains: security, RBAC and user administration; account management and data governance; data and object management; performance monitoring and tuning; data sharing and the Marketplace; and disaster recovery, backup and replication

  • Heaviest weighting on security and access control, matching the exam's own emphasis, including the grant chains and privilege inheritance that produce the hardest questions

  • Current ADA-C02 content throughout, not recycled material from the previous version

  • Select-multiple questions included, matching the live format

  • Scenario-based questions built around realistic account problems across varied industries

  • Kept current with the published study guide, which Snowflake revises regularly

  • Unlimited retakes, randomized question order, mobile-friendly, lifetime access

How to use this course

Sit the first test cold to find your baseline. Read every explanation, including on questions you answered correctly — on an administration exam, a right answer for the wrong reason is a failure waiting for a different phrasing. When something stays abstract, open a trial account and do it: build a role hierarchy and trace the grants, tag an object and query the lineage, set a resource monitor, run a query and read the profile, undrop a table. Snowflake's account usage views are where most of the tuning and cost questions live, and half an hour querying them yourself is worth more than an hour of reading.

Worth knowing: the Core certification is a prerequisite for this exam, and the credential requires periodic recertification. Plan for both rather than discovering them at registration.

Before you enroll

This course assumes you hold the Core certification or equivalent working knowledge, and that you have administered a real Snowflake account. It is a practice bank for testing and sharpening that experience, not an introduction to the platform. Every question here is original and written from the current published study guide. These are not brain dumps. This course is independent and is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Snowflake. Snowflake and SnowPro are trademarks of their respective owners.

Who this course is for:

  • Snowflake administrators preparing for the SnowPro Advanced: Administrator (ADA-C02) exam
  • Core-certified professionals moving up to the advanced administrator track
  • Data platform engineers and DBAs who own a Snowflake account and its security posture
  • Consultants and partner-firm engineers who need the credential for client work or partner tiering
  • Candidates who studied under the previous exam version and need material aligned to the current blueprint
  • Data governance and FinOps practitioners responsible for Snowflake access control or spend
  • Anyone who has failed ADA-C02 once and needs to isolate which domain is costing them
