Description
>>> How to make a Smart Mirror that works as a News, Weather, time, and Date feed using Raspberry Pi in this Step By Step guide <<<
Welcome to this course.
In this course, we provide detailed instructions on how to make an easy Raspberry Pi powered home smart mirror.
A smart mirror displays applications so that you can check the weather, local news, etc., while you are getting ready in the morning. It's also modular, so you can easily move it around or hang it on the wall if you like. We are introducing a basic application that you can run on the smart mirror, but it's totally customizable if you want to write some of your own code.
You can use a Raspberry Pi 3, A, B+, or any other Pi Module.
Introduction:
What if you could see the time, weather forecast, and your morning news headlines just by looking in the mirror? A Smart Mirror would show you all of this information on a screen embedded in your bathroom mirror. This is possible with a Raspberry Pi mounted to the back of the mirror. This tutorial will cover how to do this project for someone with no previous programming knowledge.
Parts: What do you need to make a smart mirror?
Step 1: Hook up the mirror
Step 2: Install the webcam for video chat
Step 3: Connect to Wi-Fi
The word "smart" comes from the fact that this mirror helps you in a smart way. You won't just see yourself; you will also see the weather in your area, the date and time, in addition to the latest news depending on your location. You can change the display language easily using a customization file that we provide.
Facts about the course:
Allows you to customize it with your own information, so you can set the mirror to display anything and everything in your life, such as commute time, dinner time, meeting times.
Turning your Raspberry Pi into a Smart Mirror will make it much more interesting and eye-catching. You can set up the mirror with all your personalized info, which includes the current date, desired temperature, and what type of day you're having.
The course is very detailed and concise, making it easy to learn how to use Raspberry Pi.
Why you should take this course?
You'll learn how to calibrate your Raspberry Pi monitor so it automatically adjusts for various conditions.
Learn how to turn your Raspberry Pi into a smart mirror that displays the current time, weather, and other random trivia.
This course will teach you how to build a Smart Mirror.
This course contains detailed, step-by-step instructions to build a smart mirror with Raspberry Pi and other easy-to-find hardware.
You'll learn how to put together a working electronic device from scratch and incorporate Arduino programming into your projects.
Conclusion: Hopefully, this course will inspire you to use your Raspberry Pi and teach you how to create your very own smart mirror.

More About Ashraf:
I've always tried to live life presently and to the fullest. Some of the things I love to do in my spare time include football, biking, traveling to new places, watching sports (huge football fan here!), and sharing meals with friends and family.
In 2012, I graduated with my Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering at Azhar University - one of the top schools in the country. While there, I was fortunate to make Embedded Systems project using Arduino, PIC Microcontroller and other modules. After graduating, I worked at My own university as a Teacher Assistant . I followed that stint with a contract at a local College where I discovered how amazing it is to share your knowledge offline, which made me eager and eventually found myself starting my own online learning journey. I helped more than 100k student since then. Most recently. Throughout this time I built my Educational Engineering School Online brand to teach others the skills that I have. Now I only do things I love each day.
I want to show you how to be a better Embedded System creator, make money from your skills, and live the life you dreamed of.
