Description

The very first thing you learn in the Wing Chun system is the Siu Nim Tau form. To learn Wing Chun properly, it is important to have a strong foundation in the basics and it is vital for your Wing Chun journey to learn Siu Nim Tau correctly. This really is the ABCs of Wing Chun; your advanced techniques will only be as good as your basics. In this course we will go in depth into the details of each movement of the Siu Nim Tau form. You will learn each of the eight sets of the form in clarifying detail, plus the whole performance from start to finish at the end of the course. There is also a pdf of a detailed Siu Nim Tau terminology list that I created, which will help you learn the names of each of the movements in the form; complete with the Chinese characters for the names, how to pronounce them and their English translations. Common mistakes people make and how to fix them are also addressed, leaving you with confidence in your performance of the Siu Nim Tau form and put you on the path to mastery.
