Hello, my name is Vasiliy Fomichev. I am a Sitecore MVP, practice lead and a technology enthusiast at heart. Ever since the times of DOS and Norton Commander, by the way, you absolutely have to send me a Tweet if you know what those are, I never stopped being curios about new advancements in the IT industry. To put it short - I enjoy discovering how the world works and translating that understanding into greater things with the help of technology.
I started working with Sitecore over a decade ago and since then remained its advocate. Starting to work with Sitecore as a developer and a content author, I moved into the roles of technical lead, DevOps engineer, marketer and architect. I've played roles of testers and business analysts, project and account managers. Over the years I've been on a variety of projects ranging from the small implementations to global multi-lingual and multi-currency Sitecore Commerce solutions across a wide range of industries. During the past five years I was fortunate to help manage and grow three Sitecore Practices. This experience gave great insight into what Sitecore is good at.
Over the years I've picked on certain tips and tricks that made me much more efficient working with Sitecore and have a good sense for what works and what doesn't and what to do when things don't go as expected. In addition to leading projects, I've also trained multiple clients and teams from various corners of the US on Sitecore Content Authoring and Development and learned what type of training is important for anyone starting with Sitecore to receive in order lay down a solid foundation to build the rest of the Sitecore knowledge on. I'm looking forward to sharing this information with you in the upcoming course!
