My biography:
My name is Desislava Stoimenova and I’m experienced opera singer and voice teacher.I had completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Opera Singing from National Academy of Music“Prof. Pancho Vladigerov”. During my studies, I had the opportunity to study with some of the biggest names in theopera world, including Raina Kabaivanska, Anna Tomowa-Sintow and Christina Angelakova.
In 2013, I received a scholarship from Raina Kabaivanska and the America for Bulgaria Foundation.
In my singing career I have given concerts worldwide, in cities across Europe and Asia.
From 2012 to 2016 I was working in Sofia opera and ballet where I performed in numerous opera performances and concerts.
As a guest artist, I have performed with professional orchestras including The Bulgarian National Radio Big Band, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra and Sinfonietta Sofia.
Since 2016 I have been teaching students in Macau and Hong Kong, where my students have successfully taken singing exams, as well as won national and international voice competitions.
