Hi there!
I'm Charlotte - Creativity Coach and digital creator from Creative Goddess Club, and I started my podcast "Creative Goddess Show" exactly 1 year ago.
What does it look like now?
a whopping 42 episodes
consistent content released weekly to my audience
5 star reviews
10+ collaboration episodes with other creators in business (and more in the pipeline)
But I'm guessing you already know the power of a podcast... that's why you are here right?
You don't need to be reminded of its potential to: connect more deeply with your audience, build an authority base, collaborate, increase visibility - oh and not to mention how creative and FUN it is.
It's just the actual part of *doing* it and dealing with all that "tecchy stuff"... am I right again?!
In this course I'm going to show you how to outline, record/edit and add music in a simple way that doesn't overwhelm.
I believe in using low cost / free tools where possible when you're starting out, because there's always room for an upgrade later right! The problem I see with so many is block that deciding --- "which microphone?" or "which software?" --- creates. Then? You've got it - no action is taken to action create the *thing* or in this case a podcast episode.
So the two tools I will be focusing on in this course is Audacity (Free for Windows and Mac) and GarageBand (free for Mac users).
I hope this course really helps you to get back to basics and experience the joy of sharing your message with the world! :)

Outline your episode and reap the rewards! This is such a key step to be taken that eases the recording process big time - trust me. I’ll be sharing my basic process with you on how I do this for every single episode I record.
Worried you’re not “techy” enough? Recording your podcast is only as complicated as you want it to be. Introducing the simple software called Audacity that I love to use - it comes with very little resistance and I'm going to teach you how to use the basic functions, so you’re not frantically Googling / YouTubing every couple of minutes!

It is easy to get hung up on making your podcast sound “perfect” but too much of this can actually take away from the natural flow of your voice. I will teach you how to edit using just a few functions on the free program Audacity.
Don't forget that after this, lecture 5 includes a tech tutorial showing recording on Audacity in action!

Want to add some background or intro music to your podcast, but don’t want to be tearing your hair out with tech? I will show you where to find awesome tunes and demonstrate how to integrate them easily using my go-to program - Garageband.

Has that amazing plan for your podcast been stuck in your head for too long? To the point of frustration?
Now's the time to take action, my friend! But in a simple way, minus the technical overwhelm and breaking the bank.
I created my Podcast, The Creative Goddess Show, just over 1 year ago and I have never looked back.
But... I procrastinated for a while before starting because I had this idea that it was too difficult.
What I realised? I was letting my fear of tech get in the way of sharing my amazing message!
So now I'm here to show you how I managed to record and edit my podcast in a way that didn't make me want to run a mile in tech fear!
Here's what you will learn in this course:
Module 1: Outlining Your Episode
Module 2: Recording and Editing Your Podcast Using Free Tool Audacity
Module 3: Adding Music to Your Podcast using GarageBand
By the end of this course you will be feeling a new sense of excitement because you will have overcome the technical barriers stopping you from taking action before and learned how to use these free magical tools to finally get your podcast recorded.
Of course, these steps are repeatable and can be used over and over again with every episode you release!
I'm super excited for you to start creating your podcast with confidence :)
You've got this! Charlotte x
