In this movie clip, we watch the crew from Apollo 13 deep dive into a problem, and figure out a way to strategically solve it.  This is problem solving at its best because you have to start from SIMPLE foundational thoughts and build your way to something awesome.

Always remember, you cannot just get to the huge solution right out the gate.  You must start from simple and work you way up to that great solution.

In transformation point #1, we deep dive into the meaning of problem, decision and judgement.  We share some key behaviors for all 3 situations as things are happening in the moment.

We then follow up with an exercise to get your and/or your team moving!

In transformation point #2, we deep dive the difference between decision making and problem solving.  Don't get me wrong, there are also some similarities you will see with both as well.

We then dive into the difference between a problem and a symptom.  You probably have heard this before, but when you have a problem, there are so many different symptoms that play up to that problem.  Really understanding the difference between a problem and a symptom gets you to a root cause faster and opens your eyes to deeper issues and challenges.

Don't be blind to the REAL PROBLEM.

Transformatoin Point #2

In transformation point #3, we now deep dive into resolution with the 5-WHY strategy.  I am sure you have heard of the 5-WHY strategy before, but how often do you personally use that in business or in your personal life?

Deep diving into a problem all the way, will help get to resolution quicker.  In this lecture, we give you a GREAT 5-WHY example to print out and keep as well.

Transformation Point #3
05:32

In transformation point #4, we give you The Bridge Venture's 6 steps to the problem solving process.  This 6 step process is actually printable for you to keep with you.

We then take it one step further and give you that 6 step process in a worksheet that you can use at any time.  Print out as many copies as you want and when you get to a problem you need to solve, go ahead and use it!

Transformation Point #4

We want to personally thank you for taking the time to go through this class. If you didn't learn anything new, at least we hope this was a mindset reminder and refresher for your outlook in the short time frame until it is put to the back of your mind.

If you feel it is a good tool for all of your teammates, we are even more excited!

We hope you follow us on Facebook and on our website. We have other courses to offer like this on your journey to building your solid organizational culture!

Best of luck to you - Angelique & John
