Making Music 5 with Waveform 12: A free DAW to create music


Have you thought about learning a new music production software also known as a DAW? Waveform 12 is the Free version DAW that I will be sharing with you in this course.


This course will explain the basics to get you started on your journey, from where to download the software, how to assign the folder for your samples, how to bring samples into the workspace, how to duplicate and loop your samples as well as easily changing the gain of the samples


You can also follow along with your MPC X as well and I will briefly demonstrate how I am using the MPC X to create music in the MPC software and export it into Waveform 12.

The intention of this course is to share how to

  • Creating expansion packs using MPC Expansion Builder to keep the sound creation process fresh and exciting

  • Get started with Waveform 12 DAW

  • Use the MPC software to create a midi sequence and export it into Waveform

  • Easily find and load samples into Waveform

  • Looping and changing the gain of samples

  • Exporting the music you created to use for your content

My hope is that you will gain the skills and confidence to create music for your content using both the MPC and Waveform 12
