  • Tia Portal Software Information10:43

Our goal is to learn information about Tia Portal software and hardware. Our cpu is S7 1214 DC/DC/DC. At first, we will learn how to add device. I am not going to be boring. So we will get to study quickly.

  • Add New Device and module10:14

If we want create program. We must configure our hardware.Because of this we will add our cpu and module in our software.

  • Hardware Downloading10:28

Our cpu need know which one module and signal board we have.We must download our hardware feature to cpu. After we will be go online cpu and check everything is right.

  • Creating First Network14:10

Okey...We know something about software and hardware. Why we don't create program?

Let's start creating first network. We will use NO contact and coil.

  • Basic Instructions14:09

We are very powerfull. Then start to learn diffrent command...NC / SET / RESET

  • Important Programming Rule9:27

We must know some rule for creating right program.I will tell you first important rule. Please watch this video two times..

  • SetBF/ResetBF and Positive/Negative signal edge9:07

Our new commands are SetBF/ResetBF and Positive/Negative signal edge

  • Set-reset / Reset - Set Flip Flop10:42

We will learn set-reset and reset-set flip flop command.

  • Timers TON/TOF/TP/TONR16:45

The machine systems some part are work by time.Because of this we must know timer command. The S7 1200 CPU have 4 diffrent timer command.TP/TON/TOF/TONR

  • Counter And Compare Commands9:59

If you need count something and compare ; our cpu has some command for this operation. The CTU command is counting in signal and we can use this value for operating our systems.

  • Data Type11:03

We learn a lot of command. So start learning data type.We will use Data type all time.We must know everything about data type.

  • Data Type?
  • Working real hardware13:16

We will connect NO and NC buttom in our hardware. After we will connect laser sensor and we will start to take value in analog input.

  • Using laser sensor for calculate dimesion8:51

we will learn normx and scalex command. So we can calculate analog signals quickly and easly.

  • Show Value in Hmi-17:34

We will see how we can easly show value in HMI.

  • Analog output-Hardware14:21

We will start to learn analog output systems. You can learn hardware systems and connections for analog hardware in this video.

  • Analog output software-117:33

    Lets start programming analog outputs.

  • Analog output software-2 and write value in HMI14:36

We can write speed value in HMI and take analog output..

Requirements

  • TIA PORTAL Software
  • S7 1200 CPU

Description

Learning Tia Portal With S7 1200 PLC;

This one is a basic course. I've already made 29 hours video about TIA Portal automation systems in Turkish. More lessons in English are coming up.

We will use real hardware during our lessons. And we will

demonstrate how cable, pin etc. connection should be done.

The hardwares we use at our basic course are: Siemens s7 1214 dc/dc/dc CPU, communations module, buttons(no/nc), laser sensor.

You will learn how to add harware and how to use basic instructions, timers, counter, compare, analog input signals, show value in hmi.

Who this course is for:

  • student
  • engineer
  • technician
