Description

The Keio Dojo is a traditional karate dojo at the renowned Keio University in Japan.

It was founded in 1924 and is one of the oldest university karate clubs in the country.

Keio Dojo practices the Shotokan style, which is known for its powerful and direct techniques.

Many famous karate masters have influenced and trained at the dojo over the years.

The students of the Keio Dojo place great emphasis on discipline, body control and mental strength.

The dojo is not only a place to train, but also a community that conveys values such as respect and cohesion.

Members of the Keio Dojo regularly take part in national and international competitions.


This course was created in the Keio Dojo, where the last grandmasters who still trained with Gichin Funakoshi, the founder of Shotokan Karate, can be admired.
