After watching this class, you'll have the tools and knowledge to write and produce a short film. After each lesson, work on your short film until it's finished and out into the world.
These lessons will go over coming up with your idea, writing your script, rewriting your script, assembling table reads with actors, casting, producing, editing, and how to set up a premiere for your short film.

Instructor
Jordan Imiola is a published writer and produced screenwriter with award-winning movies, TV shows, web series, and more. Jordan has over 25 IMDb Writing credits and has a track record of selling and optioning scripts. He's worked at 20th Century Fox, Disney, NBCUniversal, Marvista Entertainment, Untitled Entertainment, and Funny Buffalo Films and has ghostwritten several screenplays.

During his junior year at Buffalo State University, he was the first student to be nominated for the WGA Michael Collyer Fellowship. Jordan is also the creator and showrunner of several successful comedy series, including "Monster Therapy," "Romantically Hopeless," and "Sports TV," which stars "Workaholics" Eric Griffin.
In 2020, Jordan wrote and directed the feature film, cult classic Zoom comedy, "Christmas Staycation." (Now streaming on Tubi and on DVD everywhere). He's also the creator of "The Deadline Junkies Screenwriting Podcast," where he and his two funny friends interview TV showrunners, staff writers, and successful blockbuster screenwriters.
He can write in any genre but specializes in comedy, family films, Christmas movies, action, and horror. He has written sketches and performed improv at Second City.
