Lesson 1: Daichi no Saiten - first voice10:04
This lesson will teach you to play along with another flute and play duets. There is also a taiko segment for this so any percussion base rhythm works as well. This song was composed by Marco Lienhard. It is a song of celebration of the Gods upon completion of the world. Here you will learn the first voice of the song.
Lesson 2: Daichi No Saiten, 2nd voice7:30
This lesson will teach you to play along with another flute and play duets. There is also a taiko segment for this so any percussion base rhythm works as well. This song was composed by Marco Lienhard. It is a song of celebration of the Gods upon completion of the world. Here you will learn the second voice of the song and also play the duet. You can go back to the first lesson to play the track and you play the second voice. Or play the first voice to this track.
Lesson 3: Takeda No Komoriuta, Version A7:39
This lesson will teach you to play solos and a melody in different versions. a beautiful melody that you can work on and work on interpretation. The song is a popular song from the Kyoto area. You will learn the first version in this lesson, which is easier to play. It is important to master the melody first before moving to the next lesson.
Lesson 4: Takeda No Komoriuta , version B and C11:17
Learn to play the Kyoto lullaby Takeda no komoriuta on the shinobue, mastering versions B and C across octaves with transitions and two-finger drills for practice and expression.

This lesson will teach you to play an original song by Marco Lienhard. It has an Okinawan feel to it.
A beautiful melody that you can work on and work on interpretation. A simpler yet quiet piece that will challenge you with the passages from low to high register

Lesson 6: Beginnings9:12
This is the Fue part of a Taikoza Taiko piece. It is a very upbeat song that uses higher notes and trills. Great to work on rhythms and sound. It can be also used on its own. We hope you enjoy this song. Listen to the melody at the beginning and end of the lesson. The song is also available on Taikoza 's website or can be heard on Spotify as well.

We have added this lesson to learn to read and write. Japanese Fue notation. This is a lesson that you might have seen in other courses. A great way to get familiar with the notation and learn to read and write the notation for the Fue.
This lesson can be done at any time in this course or done several times

This will show you how to repair a flute that has cracked. I recommend to repair as quickly as possible before the crack gets too big

Description

This course will help you get even better at the Fue. We will teach you how to better your sound. You will learn some new songs with more elaborate melodies that will get a little more challenging with each lesson. Learning to play the lower and higher register notes as you go through the course and learn new songs. Third-octave notes and trills. Great to learn new solos and Duets and work on your sound. This course has a duet Daichi no Saiten, that isa fun piece that can be played as a duet or solo and you can add Taiko to it - for a very fun and engaging Taiko song. Check the recording on Spotify un Taikoza for a the track on its own.

Learn more complicated songs and learn about alternate notes and trills.

Working on your embouchure is also key to getting better at playing and getting clear and sustained notes.

The course can be used by people who are intermediate or advanced level students.

In the course you will learn to play: Daichi no Saiten, Takeda no Lullaby, Shima no Kaze, and Beginnings

A special lesson about Notation teaches you about notations and we encourage you to watch it earlier on and go back to it on several occasions to master writing and reading the music. It can be studied even after lesson 1 or at several points in your study.
