Lesson 1: Kuroda Bushi11:05
In this lesson, you will learn to play a song from Fukuoka. The song is a beautiful slower melody. These lessons will help you learn different techniques of the Fue and slowly get better at playing the Fue. The last lesson can be done at any time. It is to help you learn to not only read but write the Fue notation
Lesson 2: Tozan Matsuri- 1st Voice9:52
In this lesson, we are learning an original song by Marco Lienhard. It is played along with percussion, Taiko in this case. It can be played on its own. The melody can be later be used so that you can play the second voice with this track. you will be able to play this melody to the next lesson track. It is important to work on tempo and also to be able to play to another melody
Lesson 3: Tozan Matsuri 2nd voice7:52
This lesson is about the 2nd voice of Tozan Matsuri. a slightly more challenging rhythm and fingering
Lesson 4: Gezan Bayashi9:31
An original song that is usually played with Taiko. It is important in this case to follow the tempo and stay in tempo playing in a swing beat.
Lesson 5: Soran Bushi11:14
This lesson is a folk song from Hokkaido. It has some higher register notes as well.
Lesson 6: Yoru No Tsuki9:15
In this lesson, you will learn to play Yoru no Tsuki, an original song by Marco Lienhard. It has some more challenging notes in the higher register. This song can be heard on the Shakuhachi on Marco Lienhard Cd Inori/ Prayer
Special lesson: Fue Notations- Learn to write6:19
This is a lesson you can do during this course. It is a repeat of the other courses to help you read and write the Fue Notation.

You should own a Fue
It is best to use #8 for the course, but other flutes work as well, you will need to transpose

Description

This course will help you to be better at the Fue. We will teach you how to better your sound. It will take you from learning the basic songs to playing more elaborate melodies that will get a little more challenging with each lesson. Learning to play the lower and higher register notes as you go through the course and learn new songs.

Learn more complicated songs and learn about alternate notes.

Working on your embouchure is also key to getting better at playing and getting clear and sustained notes.

The course can be used by people who are beginners who can play simple songs as well as intermediate level students.

In the course you will learn to play: Sakura - different versions; Lullaby from Hiroshima area, different versions; Antagata Dokosa; Chinsagu no Hana and Kuroda Bushi

Some of the songs can be also heard on Taikoza CD: Tree Spirit and Voice of the Earth as well as. Marco Lienhard's CD: Inori/ Prayer

Special lesson about Notation teaches you about notations and we encourage you to watch it earlier on and go back to it on several occasions to master writing and reading the music. It can be studied even after lesson 1 or at several points in your study.
