It provides a structured and practical approach to administering SharePoint environments in real-world enterprise scenarios.

The course begins by covering important SharePoint terminology, HTTP/HTTPS fundamentals, and the role of Active Directory, including creating users and groups. You will then move into the installation and configuration of SharePoint 2013, followed by creating web applications, site collections, and performing site customization.

A major focus of the course is authentication and security. You will learn about claims-based authentication, configuring Forms Based Authentication (FBA), working with zones, and understanding how authentication databases are configured and managed.

The course then dives deep into SharePoint service applications, including Enterprise Content Management (ECM). You will work with the term store, content types, document sets, document IDs, content organizer, and record management features. User-centric services such as User Profile Service, profile synchronization, My Sites, and audiences are also covered in detail.

You will also gain strong exposure to SharePoint Search, including search architecture, configuration, and administration. Administrative automation using Windows PowerShell and SharePoint PowerShell is included to help you manage SharePoint efficiently.

Finally, the course covers backup and restore strategies, including recycle bin recovery, farm-level backups, granular backups, and content database management. Practice tests are included to reinforce learning and validate your administrative knowledge.
