Beginner Friendly Shalwar Kameez Course

In this course you will learn to sew traditional Asian tailoring, right from the basics.

You will first learn the correct tools and equipment that you will need for basic tailoring.

You will also learn important terminology used in the sewing industry.

This course consists of multiple classes; the first class will teach you how to draft a paper pattern using an existing garment.

The second section of this class will teach you how to correctly fold the fabric in preparation for cutting

The next part of the class will teach you how to cut correctly; although this sounds like a basic technique you will be surprised at what you will learn

The final, most challenging section of the course will consist of sewing up each part of your garment. This includes stitching your shalwar.

Then onto stitching your kameez, complete with sleeves

Each section will provide you with industry level tips and tricks that you can use in your own future projects.
