Native speakers often have a hard time understanding the struggles of people who are learning their own language.
This course is created by a person having native language totally different from Serbian.
I learned Serbian, and I understand what you are trying to achieve. Focus of this course is on grammar, other things you will learn much easier, and good grammar explanations are hard to find.
I already used methods in this course in teaching. I created this course because I often get feedback from my students that things I'm explaining are very easy for them to follow and they would like to have the whole Serbian grammar covered in one place.
Because of that:
Course is easy to follow
Things you don't need as a beginner are not here
You will learn a lot, everything written here are things you will really need
I will not teach you vocabulary, I could make this course 3 times longer if I do that, but the point is that I want to teach you things you don't have in other places.
The order of the lessons is very different from the traditional teaching methods you will find in books or hear from native speakers. For example here you will see Past tense before Present tense, reason behind is that with this order you will get it faster.
The course consists of 70 video lectures. It also includes an Anki deck with over 250 words for you to review all the words used throughout the course. You can download PDFs as well. After each lesson, you'll practice with tests for active learning and retaining what you've learned in your long-term memory. By the end of the course, you'll be able to construct sentences like a pro.
