A limiting belief is basically a lie program you believe to be true almost like a computer virus . This limiting belief could be about you, relationships, your interactions with other people, or with the world and how it works. Believing in a Limiting belief can have a number of negative effects on you.

Our limitations are based on the beliefs we have , for example: beliefs about ourselves, the world, other people, success, etc. These beliefs, are generally created in childhood, and can turn into head talk, that often severely limits our ability to enjoy life, and create success. However, even if those beliefs may be negative now, they were created to protect you in the first place. Unfortunately, when we outgrow the need for protection, we also outgrow our beliefs, but that doesn’t mean they change. In fact, the beliefs then become a burden and often cause us to get stuck.
We have to do some work to change those beliefs, and the work isn’t hard when you’re willing, but it becomes hard if you’re afraid to let go of your excuses. Let’s look at what you can do, if you’re willing to let go of the excuses and limitations:
Don’t let your “later” become “never”. People can be incredibly creative when it comes to thinking of excuses. We often used them to get out of situations that seem difficult and unpleasant, or something that is causing us fears and anxieties.
Excuses are mainly a means of placing the blame of an internal problem on an external condition.
Like all bad habits, excuses are easy. They allow you to box yourself into your comfort zone and be “okay” with your life. After a while, you’ll find this way of living isn’t enough for you. You can either accept where your life is (which is the excuse-coated version of “give up”), or you can eliminate your excuses by taking responsibility for where you are now and more importantly, why you created the excuses in the first place.
Emotions and feelings are neither right nor wrong, accurate or not. Emotions are simply your body’s reaction to what you are THINKING, whether you’re thinking on purpose or not.
The truth is that the entire range of emotions is completely normal. There are no good or bad emotions. Emotions give color to life. It’s part of the human experience.
However, it is possible to become overwhelmed by emotions, leading to unwanted consequences. It is also possible to overreact emotionally to situations. When learning emotional intelligence, we are not learning how to stop feeling negative emotions, we’re learning how to better manage our responses to them.
So, accept your emotions when they happen. If you allow them to be there, without trying to avoid or deny them, they will pass through you like a wave. When you allow yourself to fully embrace how you feel, you can learn how to channel sadness, anger, or stress toward taking action that makes a difference in your life.
