Now you know the difference between pleasure and happiness. Are you ready to start your jorney to find all these roadblocks of your own personal happiness? Are you ready to step on your unique path, to change you life forever and start to live meaninful life? It cannot be done without your effort but by the end of the course you will feel that it was worthy. Now let’s do the first exercise.
1. Every day for at least a week write down in two coloums things that brings you pleasure and to another coloum these what makes you feel happy.
These things could be very simple and very complex, they might seem to be stupid but others could be very important to you. For example:
• Listening to favorite music
• Taking a walk
• Visiting family
• Spending time alone
• Reading a book
• Dancing
• Putting a beautiful dress on
• Having a favorite dish on dinner
• Laying down on the bed
• Having a nap
• Learning something new
• Accomplishing something
• Doing sports
• Some ohter self-treatments
• Here can be EVERYTHING that brings you pleasure or make you feel happy
2. After a week check the list. First, reflect on it. Answer following questions:
• Did I put every activity in a right coloumn?
• Why these things bring me pleasure or happiness?
• How much time a week (in hours) do I do things that bring me pleasure and how much bring me happiness?
• Can I do more things that really bring me happiness?
These exercise will help you to find out these things that are important for you. Take it seriously and try again if you could not write down enough things. Start to do something differently from your everyday routine and listen to yourself very carefully. Reflect on your feelings and find out these unique things that make you happy.
And remember that there are no universal way, your happiness is special and unique! It depends only on you!
Cultivating positive mindset
A positive mindset promotes mental and emotional well-being. It allows you to manage stress, anxiety, and negative emotions in a healthy way, leading to increased happiness and overall life satisfaction.
Let’s do an exercise which will help you to start replacing negative thoughts with positive ones and as a result start cultivating positive mindset.
1. Identify Negative Thought Patterns
Start by identifying negative thought patterns that you tend to have. These are the recurring negative thoughts or beliefs that you have about yourself, others, or the world around you. Track your thoughts every day for a week and write down every time when you tend to think negatively. These thoughts are usually very spontaneous and seemed to be very natural but try to catch them and write them down at the same moment, just as they are, do not modify them. Examples of negative thought patterns include:
Catastrophizing: exaggerating the negative aspects of a situation and expecting the worst possible outcome
All-or-Nothing thinking: seeing things as black or white, with no shades of gray in between
Personalization: assuming responsibility for things that are outside of your control
Overgeneralizing: drawing broad conclusions based on a single event or experience
Discounting the Positive: dismissing positive experiences or accomplishments as insignificant or unimportant.
2. Challenge Negative Thoughts
Once you have identified negative thought patterns, challenge them with evidence that contradicts them. For example, if you tend to catastrophize, ask yourself, "What evidence do I have that this situation will turn out badly?" If you tend to overgeneralize, ask yourself, "Is this really true all the time, or just in this one instance?" After few days of writing down your daily negative thoughts, review them and try to analyse them. When you find out your negative thinking patterns, you can start challenging them at the moment they come. It will take time to get used to it, so do it step by step and give yourself as much time as you need for every step.
3. Reframe Negative Thoughts
Next step is to reframe negative thoughts into positive or neutral thoughts. For example, instead of thinking "I can never do this," reframe it as "This is challenging, but I can break it down into smaller steps and make progress." Or instead of thinking "Everyone is against me," reframe it as "I can't control others' actions, but I can control my own reactions and choices."
4. Practice Gratitude
Focus on what you are grateful for in your life. Write down three things that you are grateful for each day, no matter how small they may seem. Do it every single evening. This helps to shift your focus away from negative thoughts and towards positive ones.
5. Practice Mindfulness
Practice mindfulness by paying attention to the present moment and observing your thoughts and emotions without judgment. You can do this simple exercise whenever you are when you have a minute or two of free time, at work, in a transport, while walking or doing sports. Just stop for a minute, physically and stop your current thoughts also. And simply observe. What is happening around? What sounds do you hear? What do you smell? What do you feel physically? And what do you feel emotionally? Practicing mindfulness can help you to recognize negative thought patterns and shift your focus towards more positive ones.
Example: Let's say you have a negative thought pattern of catastrophizing. Whenever you encounter a challenge, you immediately jump to the worst-case scenario and assume that everything will go wrong. To challenge this thought pattern, you might ask yourself:
What evidence do I have that this situation will turn out badly?
Have I ever encountered a similar situation before, and how did I handle it?
What are some positive outcomes that could come from this situation, even if it doesn't turn out the way I want it to?
Then, you can reframe your negative thoughts into positive or neutral ones:
Instead of "This is going to be a disaster," reframe it as "This is a challenge, but I can break it down into smaller steps and make progress."
Instead of "I'm never going to get this right," reframe it as "I'm still learning and improving, and every mistake is an opportunity to grow."
By practicing gratitude and mindfulness, you can also shift your focus towards more positive thoughts and experiences in your life, helping to cultivate a more positive mindset overall.
Building and maintaining Strong Relationships.
This exercise will help you to analyse your recent relationships with people around you and find out something new about yourself.
1. Think of 5 to 10 real people in your life. You may have a good relationship with them or maybe not so good even. Write down about every person, why do you think you have this kind of relationship with this exact person.
These questions will help you:
· What do I gain from this relationship?
· What does this person gain from this relationship?
· Why does this person like me?
· Or... What aspect of myself doesn't this person like?
· Do I like this person and why?
· Why do we have conflicts?
· How do we manage these conflicts?
· Do we have something alike?
· How do we differ?
· Do you think that this person is totaly honest with you? Why?
· Do you totally honest with that person? Why?
2. After you wrote it down, ask these people the same question. Why in their opinion you have a relationship you have? You can also share some helping questions to guide them in thinking and answering more deeply. But do NOT answer for them, let them speak. Be sure, you will hear a lot of new things to think of.
3. When you get answers, compare your and this persons perspective on your relationship. Try to find out where are similarities in your answers and which points are very different. Think why your perspectives may differ!?
4. In conclusion, try to think what could you do to make this relationship better, more positive, more open, more honest, more comfortable for you and for the person. What can specifically you do to take it to another level?
And believe, when you start to change and make some positive moves to bring a better meaning to this relationship, another party of this relationship will feel it and change accordingly. Other people in our lives are mirrors of what we are representing them. So why would’t we try to represent more sincerity, honesty, positivity and caring behaviour. The only output we’ll get is more comfortable relationship which bring satisfaction and happiness in our lives!
This exercise will help you to Improve your Physical health and as a result imrove your mental health and overall well-being.
Try to apply all this nips for next couple weeks. It could be difficult at the beginning but you will create a habit and all these thigs will seem very natural after couple of weeks.

1. Morning exercises
Starting a habit of doing exercises every morning can be challenging, but with some simple strategies, you can make it easier to stick to this new routine.
Here are some steps you can take to start doing exercises every morning:
1. Set a goal: Identify what you want to achieve by doing exercises every morning. For example, you may want to improve your fitness level, increase your energy levels, or reduce stress. Having a clear goal will help you stay motivated and focused.
2. Start small: Begin with a small and achievable exercise routine that you can do every day. For instance, you can start with a 5-10-minute simple workout like stretching and gradually increase the duration and intensity over time.
3. Create a routine: Establish a consistent routine that works for you. Decide on a time that you will do your exercises every morning, and stick to it. Creating a routine will help you develop a habit of doing exercises every morning.
4. Find a workout buddy: Consider finding a workout buddy who can join you in your morning exercises. This will help you stay accountable and motivated.
5. Reward yourself: Set up a system of rewards to celebrate your progress. For example, you can treat yourself to a healthy breakfast or a new workout outfit when you achieve a specific milestone.
Remember, the key to success is consistency. Stick to your routine and keep pushing yourself to do more. With time, exercising every morning will become a natural and enjoyable part of your daily routine.
2. Nutrition.
Starting to eat healthy can feel overwhelming, but it's important to take it step-by-step to make it a sustainable lifestyle change.
Here are some tips to help you start eating healthy:
1. Set realistic goals: Identify a few specific changes you want to make in your diet and set realistic goals to achieve them. For example, start by adding one extra serving of vegetables to your meals each day.
2. Make a plan: Plan your meals and snacks for the week ahead of time. This will help you stay on track and avoid impulsive food choices.
3. Keep healthy foods in your home: Stock up on healthy foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and low-fat dairy products. Keep these foods visible and easily accessible in your kitchen.
4. Avoid processed foods: Processed foods are often high in calories, sugar, and unhealthy fats. Limit your intake of processed foods and focus on whole, unprocessed foods.
5. Be mindful of portion sizes: Pay attention to how much you're eating and try to eat smaller, more frequent meals throughout the day. Avoid overeating by stopping when you feel full.
6. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to help you feel full and avoid dehydration.
7. Seek support: Join a support group or find a friend who is also trying to eat healthier. Having someone to share your goals and challenges with can help you stay motivated.
Remember, making small changes over time is the key to long-term success. Be patient with yourself and celebrate your progress along the way.
3. Sleep
Getting enough sleep is crucial for our physical and mental health, but it can be challenging to achieve a restful and rejuvenating sleep. So try to start creating healthy sleep habits already today.
Here are some tips to help you start sleeping well:
1. Establish a regular sleep routine: Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends. This helps regulate your body's internal clock, making it easier to fall asleep and wake up.
2. Create a relaxing sleep environment: Make your bedroom a quiet, comfortable, and cool place to sleep. Use blackout curtains, earplugs, or a white noise machine to block out any disruptions.
3. Limit screen time: Avoid using electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, or laptops in bed. The blue light emitted by these devices can interfere with your body's natural sleep cycle.
4. Avoid caffeine and alcohol: Avoid consuming caffeine or alcohol before bedtime, as they can interfere with your sleep quality.
5. Exercise regularly: Engage in regular physical activity, as it helps improve sleep quality and reduce stress levels. However, avoid exercising too close to bedtime, as it can make it difficult to fall asleep.
6. Manage stress: Practice relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, or yoga before bedtime. This helps calm your mind and reduce stress levels, making it easier to fall asleep.
7. Avoid large meals before bedtime: Eating a heavy meal close to bedtime can make it difficult to fall asleep. Instead, opt for a light snack if you're hungry.
Remember, it takes time and consistency to develop healthy sleep habits. Be patient with yourself and keep practicing these tips until you find what works best for you.
4. Self-care
Practicing self-care is essential for our overall well-being, but it can be challenging to know where to start. We all have to take care of ourselves, remember to first put a mask on yourself then help others.
Here are some tips to help you start practicing self-care:
1. Identify your needs: Take some time to reflect on your physical, emotional, and mental needs. What activities make you feel good, relaxed, or energized? This can include activities such as taking a hot bath, going for a walk, reading a book, or spending time with loved ones.
2. Make time for self-care: Prioritize self-care activities by scheduling them into your daily or weekly routine. Set aside a specific time and stick to it.
3. Set boundaries: Learn to say no to activities or commitments that drain your energy or time. Setting boundaries helps protect your time and energy, allowing you to focus on self-care activities.
4. Practice mindfulness: Be present in the moment by practicing mindfulness. This can include meditation, deep breathing exercises, or yoga.
5. Move your body: Exercise is a great way to practice self-care. Find an activity that you enjoy, such as dancing, walking, or swimming, and make it a regular part of your routine.
6. Connect with others: Spending time with loved ones and connecting with others can help boost your mood and reduce stress levels.
7. Eat well and stay hydrated: Eating a balanced diet and staying hydrated can help improve your physical and mental well-being.
Remember, self-care looks different for everyone. Find activities that work best for you and make them a priority in your daily routine. Practicing self-care is not selfish, but rather an essential part of taking care of yourself and those around you.
RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS
1. Set a goal for yourself to perform one random act of kindness today.
Start by thinking about what you can do to make someone's day a little bit brighter. It could be as simple as holding the door open for someone, paying for someone's coffee, or offering a sincere compliment.
Start by brainstorming a list of possible random acts of kindness you could do. Some ideas might include:
· Buy a coffee or meal for a stranger · Leave a kind note for someone · Help a neighbor with their groceries or yard work · Donate clothes or other items to a local charity · Volunteer at a soup kitchen or homeless shelter
2. Choose one of the ideas from your list and commit to doing it within the next 24 hours.
Once you have an idea, take action and do it! As you go about your day, be on the lookout for opportunities to carry out your act of kindness. Keep an open mind and heart, and be willing to act on impulse if you see someone who could use your help. Don't overthink it or second-guess yourself. Trust your instincts and follow through with your kind gesture.
3. Once you've completed your random act of kindness, take a moment to reflect on how it made you feel. Did it bring you joy and happiness to help someone else? How did the other person react to your kind gesture? Did it make you feel good? Did it improve your mood? Take note of the positive impact you've made on someone else's day.
4. Make it a habit!
Try to incorporate random acts of kindness into your daily routine. Not only will it brighten someone else's day, but it can also improve your own well-being and sense of purpose.
Remember, kindness is contagious, so by doing one random act of kindness, you could inspire someone else to do the same. Spread kindness wherever you go!
ELF-REFLECTIVE JOURNALING
Self-reflective journaling is a technique that allows you to explore your thoughts and feelings and gain insights into yourself. It involves writing down your thoughts and feelings about a particular topic or experience, which helps you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself. It is a powerful tool for personal growth, and it can be used to improve your relationships, your career, and your overall well-being.
Here are some steps to get started with self-reflective journaling:
1. Set aside some time. Find a quiet place where you can reflect without any interruptions. Set aside 15-20 minutes to reflect on your day, week, or month. Choose a time when you are most alert and focused, such as early in the morning or late at night.
2. Choose a focus. Think about what you want to reflect on. It could be your relationships, your career, your personal growth, or any other aspect of your life that you want to explore. Choosing a focus will help you to stay on track and gain more insights into the specific area you are exploring.
For example, if you want to explore your relationships, you could write about a recent conflict you had with a friend or family member. You could explore your thoughts and feelings about the situation, what you learned from it, and how you can improve your communication skills in the future.
3. Start writing. Begin writing down your thoughts and feelings about the topic you have chosen. Don't worry about grammar or spelling. This is for your eyes only. Write freely and without judgment. You can use prompts or questions to help you get started.
For example, if you are exploring your personal growth, you could start by writing about your goals and aspirations. You could ask yourself questions such as, "What are my biggest strengths and weaknesses?" or "What can I do to become a better person?"
4. Ask yourself questions.
Asking yourself open-ended questions can prompt deeper thinking and help you gain more insights into yourself. Some questions you could ask yourself include:
What did I learn from this experience?
What could I have done differently?
How did this situation make me feel?
What are my values and beliefs?
What do I want to achieve in the future?
5. Be honest. Be honest with yourself and write down everything that comes to mind, even if it makes you uncomfortable. Self-reflective journaling is a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. The more honest you are with yourself, the more insights you will gain.
For example, if you are exploring your career, you could write about your current job and how you feel about it. You could explore your motivations for working, what you enjoy about your job, and what you don't enjoy. You could also write about your long-term career goals and what steps you need to take to achieve them.
6. Reflect on your writing. After you have finished writing, take some time to reflect on what you have written. Think about what you have learned about yourself and what changes you can make in the future. Reflecting on your writing can help you to gain even more insights into yourself and your experiences.
For example, if you have been exploring your personal growth, you could reflect on your writing and identify common themes or patterns. You could then use this information to set goals and make positive changes in your life.
7. Make it a habit. Self-reflective journaling is a powerful tool for personal growth, so try to make it a regular habit. Set aside time each week to reflect on your experiences and write down your thoughts and feelings.
Example: You might set a goal to journal for 15 minutes each day before bed or to journal for 30 minutes once a week.
Remember, self-reflective journaling is a personal journey, and it can take time to get used to. Don't put pressure on yourself to write perfectly or have all the answers. The most important thing is to be honest and open with yourself. Good luck!
MAKE A PLAN FOR YOUR HAPPINESS
Creating an action plan for happiness is a powerful tool for achieving a more satisfying and meaningful life. It will help you stay focused, motivated, and accountable to your goals, while also providing opportunities for growth and learning.
Making an action plan for happiness can help you live a more fulfilling and satisfying life by giving you direction, purpose, and a roadmap for achieving your goals.
1. Identify what makes you happy. Take some time to reflect on the things that bring you joy and happiness in your life. These could be activities, hobbies, relationships, experiences, or accomplishments. Write down a list of your top five things.
Examples: Spending time with loved ones, traveling to new places, practicing yoga, volunteering for a cause you care about, learning a new skill or language.
2. Set specific goals. Based on your list, set specific and measurable goals that will help you achieve more of what makes you happy. Your goals should be meaningful, challenging, and aligned with your values.
Examples: If one of the things that make you happy is spending time with family and friends, your goal might be to plan and schedule regular gatherings or activities. If you enjoy traveling, your goal might be to save money and plan a trip to a new destination. If you love learning, your goal might be to enroll in a course or workshop in a subject that interests you.
3. Break down your goals. Once you have set your goals, break them down into smaller, more manageable steps. This will make them feel less overwhelming and help you stay on track.
Examples: If your goal is to plan regular gatherings with family and friends, your steps might include identifying who you want to invite, finding a suitable location, and planning the activities. If your goal is to save money for a trip, your steps might include creating a budget, cutting back on expenses, and researching travel deals. If your goal is to learn a new skill, your steps might include finding a class, buying the necessary materials, and practicing regularly.
4. Create a timeline. Set a timeline for achieving your goals and steps. Be realistic about what you can accomplish in a certain timeframe, but also challenge yourself to make progress.
Examples: If you want to plan regular gatherings with family and friends, you might set a goal to have one gathering per month and schedule them in advance. If you want to save money for a trip, you might set a goal to save a certain amount each month and plan to take the trip in six months. If you want to learn a new skill, you might set a goal to attend a class once a week and practice for at least 30 minutes every day.
5. Determine the resources you need. Identify the resources and support you need to achieve your goals, such as time, money, skills, or assistance from others. Be proactive in seeking out the resources you need to succeed.
Examples: If you want to plan regular gatherings with family and friends, you might need to enlist the help of others to organize and prepare for the events. If you want to save money for a trip, you might need to cut back on expenses in other areas, or find additional ways to earn income. If you want to learn a new skill, you might need to invest in materials or equipment, or seek out a mentor or teacher.
6. Track your progress. Keep track of your progress towards your goals and steps. Celebrate your successes and learn from your setbacks. If you encounter obstacles, adjust your plan and keep moving forward.
Examples: If you successfully plan a gathering with family and friends, take time to reflect on what worked well and how you can improve for the next event. If you struggle to save money for a trip, analyze your spending habits and find ways to cut back or earn more income. If you find it challenging to learn a new skill, seek out additional resources or support to help you succeed.
7. Stay motivated. Keep your goals and action plan visible, and stay motivated by reminding yourself of the things that make you happy. Find inspiration and support from people who encourage and uplift you.
By following these steps, you can create a practical plan for your happiness that will help you achieve your goals and live a more fulfilling life.
Remember, creating an action plan for your happiness is a dynamic process. You may need to adjust your plan as circumstances change, but by taking intentional steps towards what makes you happy, you can create a more satisfying and meaningful life.
