  • Release Assurance and Lifecycle Review: 20 Scenarios20 questions

Description

Practice making secure software decisions with 40 original scenario questions from Cloudpuz Academy. This focused collection contains two tests of 20 questions each. It is designed for learners who already understand basic web applications, APIs and software delivery and want to apply that knowledge to realistic security tradeoffs.

The first test focuses on security design and implementation. You will examine tenant authorization, trust boundaries, transaction safety, secure defaults, sensitive data handling, token validation and common application weaknesses. Each scenario asks you to select the response that best addresses the specific threat and constraints described.

The second test covers release assurance and the wider software lifecycle. Topics include dependency review, build credentials, vulnerability triage, verification evidence, rollback planning, vendor responsibilities, decommissioning and remediation of recurring defects. The goal is to connect a security requirement with a concrete engineering decision.

Every question has four answer choices and an explanation for each choice. Review both correct and incorrect options after an attempt, record the reasoning behind mistakes, and revisit the relevant concepts before trying again. Each test allows 35 minutes and uses an 80 percent practice passing score. These settings are study aids chosen for this course.

This course contains practice questions and explanations, with no video lessons or hosted lab environment. It is a targeted secure software lifecycle supplement, not a complete certification curriculum or an official exam simulation. The scenarios are independently written and do not reproduce real certification exam questions. No certification result is guaranteed.

Who this course is for:

  • Developers, application security reviewers and secure-SDLC learners seeking focused scenario practice.
