
a quick hello where i introduce my self and the course!
A do a lot of talking in this one :) but i promise you we jump pretty quickly into the practical side of thing in videos to come!
Digital sculpting is a part of many industries, such as film, video games, VR/AR... Digital sculpts are made out of polygons, and polygons are made out of points and vertices! The way those vertices are connected to each other is called topology.

THIS IS NOT THE BLUE UI and will probably NOT change anything in your UI! In some updates of Zbrush a few buttons might change their places in the User Interface, so to avoid confusion i made a user interface that will keep you 1 on 1 with the user interface i have in the videos! Please load it and let's start sculpting!

IMPORTANT: Wherever the Ctrl key is mentioned in this documentation, MacOSX users may want to use the Cmd (Apple) key instead, though note for keyboards with both a Ctrl and Cmd key either can be used. The Alt key on Macintosh keyboards is sometimes called the Option key, and the Windows Enter key is called the Return key.
Master the basics of ZBrush by loading and saving tools, importing and exporting LBJ files, and using primitives to enter edit mode for 3d sculpting.
Testing the discription
Initialize 3d primitives into poly mesh 3d by pressing make poly mesh 3d, adjust size and polygon count, and twist to shape, then start sculpting.
Explore local symmetry and axis-based transformations in zbrush, learn to enable symmetry on the x, y, and z axes, and understand topology and polygon cage implications for sculpting.
We are taking a look at Folders, a great way to organize our subtools!
Explore subdivisions in ZBrush: increase polygon resolution through subdivision levels to gain more sculpting points, enabling finer detail while maintaining non-destructive edits.
Explore the ZBrush gizmo 3D tool, moving, scaling, and rotating across subtools with transpose master, and adjust gizmo origin, center, unmask mesh center, and sticky mode for precise posing.
Explore gizmo 3d and the former to sculpt with symmetry, control points, and subdivisions, refining shapes through inflate and flatten to create a poly mesh 3d from primitives.
Explore standard, smooth, clay build up, dam standard, and trim dynamic brushes in ZBrush; master add and subtract strokes, draw size and intensity, and use space or right-click menus.
Explore essential ZBrush brushes like Move, Move Topological, and Morph, learn to use them with symmetry, and understand how topological differences and morph targets shape and refine forms.

Diana mesh makes watertight models for 3D printing by closing holes, but it doesn't smooth or preserve details. Use 0 mesh to create topology while preserving sculpted details, then subdivide.
A student asked a question on FB group- why, even though he has 2M polygons, he still can't sculpt details due to low polygon resolution!? He send me his Zbrush file and this is the answer. As an added bonus i also talk about ProjectAll feature- A great way to transfer details from one sculpt to another!
