Scrum is Agile, but agile is a larger umbrella concept on its own.
To understand how to succeed with Scrum we need to understand how Agile solves problems differently than traditional delivery models.
We take a look at the Big Picture of Scrum per the Scrum Guide to establish a common glossary of terms.
We also start to see the key element come to gether in relation to each other.
Every scrum team has three distinct accountabilities. While the Scrum Team is one delivery unit, within the team the three scrum roles have ownership of different concerns and deliverables.
Scrum only has three required artifacts. While your organization may have others, knowing what scrum needs and how they are used is an important part of success with Scrum. Additionally, each artifact has a corresponding commitment that supports healthy practice.
Scrum events are the cadence and heartbeat of the team. Each event and activity has a very specific outcome to focus on regardless of how they are facilitated. The focus here is not on running the events, but what outcomes to focus on achieving.

The objective was quickly to instill a working comprehension of the essential parts and desired outcomes.
Since then it has been used to train and re-train agile teams when time was short or budget-limited formal training.
