This course is designed for parents who want to help their child to augment their coding skills with concepts that will enable them to move into scripting with languages such as Python and Swift.

Your child will learn how to code .. first person games concepts, smooth sprite collisions for corridor arcade type games, tracking offstage sprites that reappear on stage correctly, scrolling backdrops with scroll-x, professional health-bars, hit and collectible animations, sprites that use AI to choose targets, and clone associations to allow, for example, clone soldiers to fire an asscoaited clone bullet. Techniques learnt are transferable to a wide range of coding scenarios.

Coding is a primary skill for the modern workplace and this course provides the perfect platform for learning in-depth concepts for computer studies at A-level, further and higher education.
