Description
Welcome to the third module of Greenhouse Gas Emission Calculation Methodology by International Practices Course by HPBS BV company. The program was developed by HPBS experts and is part of an ecosystem of educational trainings in the field of sustainable development, green economy and reducing the ecological footprint.
Before starting this third part of our educational program we expect you to pass through Module 1 (Scope 1: Green Houses Emission Calculation Methodology) and Module 2 (Scope 2: Green Houses Emission Calculation Methodology), which you can find in our Instructor profile.
In this course you will learn about Greenhouse Gas Emission Calculation Methodology by Scope 3 and Reporting greenhouse gas emissions ( Standards and Bodies: CDP, TCFD, GRI), as well as Supply Chain Management and Optimization. With this course we discover international standards for the carbon inventory and reporting for companies and products. We go through scopes of GHG emissions and the structure of GHG reporting and talk about international initiatives which drive markets towards a more sustainable and low carbon economy.
With the first section you will study identification of Scope 3 emissions and perform calculations for Scope 3 emissions. This section provide you to apply theory to practice and work through some practice calculations of GHG emissions.
Second section reviews the basic standards for reporting greenhouse gas emissions, considered the requirements for verification of reporting, reviewed policies for managing climate risks. You will consider how to communicate your results to stakeholders, evaluated opportunities to optimize, offset the carbon footprint of the company.
Third section deals with supply chain optimization. The purpose of this module is to enable you to optimize your carbon footprint based on the entire supply chain during the production, or provision of services. We will discuss greenhouse gas legislation and regulation, supply chain and life cycle analysis, and product certification.
