In this lesson we will take an introductory look at Entra ID and who uses it. We will also look at the different Entra ID licenses and some key terms. We will round things out with features that work in Entra ID.

In this hands-on lab, you will configure Microsoft Entra multifactor authentication using a Conditional Access policy. You will create a policy named MFA-Finance, target the Finance group, apply the policy to all resources, configure the policy to require multifactor authentication, and enable the policy. By the end of the lab, members of the Finance group will be subject to MFA requirements when accessing resources covered by the Conditional Access policy.

In this hands-on lab, you will create a risk-based Conditional Access policy in Microsoft Entra ID to protect Finance users from high-risk sign-ins. You will create a policy named Risky Signins - Finance, assign it to the Finance group, target all resources, configure the policy to respond only to sign-ins classified as high risk, and require multifactor authentication as the access control. You will then enable and create the policy so that high-risk sign-ins for Finance users are challenged with MFA.
