Master the basics of SAP MDG, including master data concepts, governance and change requests. Explore standard and custom data models, data quality features, and data distribution through replication.
Explore the SAP MDG data replication framework (DRF): prerequisites, how to replicate data, how to check replication logs, RF configuration with a live system demo, and end-to-end testing in MDG.
Learn how the data replication framework (DRF) moves master data from the SAP MDG system to target systems using idocs, soap services, RFCs, or file transfers, and configure outbound implementations.
Learn to configure the SAP MDG data replication framework for IDOC, including defining target systems and business object types, DRF custom and technical settings, and distribution models.
Explore transferring finance master data with editions in MDG DRF: create additions, configure replication timing, and distribute idocs to target systems, monitor with the distribution monitor and view master data.
Validate DRF configurations by testing data replication from SAP MDG to the s four hana system, covering outbound IDoc and service replication, target systems, and message logging.
In this course you will learn about SAP DRF, prerequisites for configuring DRF, DRF Configuration using IDOC's and Editions in MDG Finance. For all the above concepts you'll be shown practical demo. I have not covered interconnecting systems using Services (SOA Manager), RFC's using DRF in this course but, I'll be giving a brief overview of them while teaching replication using IDOC's.
This course is intended for beginners in SAP DRF and will be useful for SAP Technical and functional consultants who would like to learn / configure DRF in their systems. I have tried to make it as simple as possible so that even beginners are able to understand it. It's good to have some knowledge in configuring ALE IDOC's in SAP before taking this course.
