The SAP Certified Application Associate - Transportation Management in SAP S/4HANA certification exam verifies that the candidate possesses fundamental knowledge and skills in the area of SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) and Transportation Management in SAP S/4HANA. This certificate proves that the candidate has an overall understanding of the solution within the application consultant for SAP Transportation Management profile and can implement this knowledge practically in projects under the guidance of an experienced consultant. This certificate builds on the basic knowledge gained through related Transportation Management in SAP S/4HANA training and refined by practical experience as part of an SAP TM or Transportation Management in SAP S/4HANA implementation team. This exam is an entry-level qualification to allow consultants to validate their knowledge of Transportation Management in SAP S/4HANA or SAP TM solution fundamentals.

To ensure success, SAP recommends combining education courses and hands-on experience to prepare for your certification exam as questions will test your ability to apply the knowledge you have gained in training.

You are not allowed to use any reference materials during the certification test (no access to online documentation or to any SAP system).

Set up a transportation network and necessary profiles for manual planning. Calibrate the VSR optimizer to enable automatic planning, and create load plans.

Enable carrier selection and tendering process to communicate with external carriers. Execute freight documents, integrate to warehouse management, and interact with other external and internal parties

Setup transportation charge management, integrate settlement to MM, and distribute costs. Manage freight contracts by using strategic freight procurement and strategic freight selling

Execute order management using forwarding orders. Manage transportation processes specific to logistics service providers.
