Description

Sanskrit is known to be one of the world's oldest languages. Sanskrit is called the language of the Gods. The Sanskrit grammatical rules developed by the great scholar Panini are designed with such perfection that within eight chapters (AShtaadhyaayi), he has described all the rules of Classical Sanskrit. Sanskrit is known to improve rational thinking and cognitive skills. It is also known that if you learn Sanskrit, learning other languages becomes much easier.

Sanskrit is not a difficult language as long as you know some ground rules. This course is the second in the ‘Sanskrit for Beginners’ series. "Sanskrit for Beginners – Part 1" teaches the Devanagari script as well as basic sentence formation using Past, Present and Future Tense. It also teaches masculine, feminine and neutral genders.

Several resources have been included for free in this course, from books authored by Sweta.

This is Part 2 of the beginner's course and covers the following:

· Sanskrit conversation

· Tenses like Lot Lakaar and Vidhiling Lakaar

· Sandhi ( transformation when 2 letters or 2 words join)

· Shabdroop tables for Masculine and Feminine Genders

· More than 1000 Sanskrit words along with their meanings throughout the course.

The quizzes provided at the end of each section, practice exercises and assignments provided will help to sharpen the knowledge further. Quizzes and assignments form an important aspect to improve learning. As with everything else, the more you practise how to read, write and speak, the better you get.
