The Salesforce Platform Administrator Exam is aimed at professionals who work with Salesforce and want to help their organizations get the most out of its features and capabilities. This exam tests knowledge of the platform’s applications, core features, and administrative options, covering Sales, Service, and Collaboration Clouds.

The certification path includes two levels:

• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator – Focused on the fundamental tools and functionality needed to manage and maintain a Salesforce implementation.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II – Geared toward experienced admins who understand best practices, advanced features, and can leverage Salesforce to address complex business needs.

Who Should Take This Exam?

The Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification is recommended for individuals who:

• Understand Salesforce features from an end-user and administrator perspective.

• Can maintain and configure a Salesforce organization.

• Are able to address common business requirements using Salesforce’s current features.

A minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience as a Salesforce administrator is recommended before attempting the exam. Candidates should be comfortable performing the tasks outlined in the exam objectives.
